Experience
In January 2013, Robert Herring and Michael Beasley brought their experience and passion to life
through the formation of SOHO Events, LLC and subsequently launched their events management
services under the TradeName Southern Hospitality Tailgating ("SoHo"). The vision for SoHo is
primarily focused on bringing the Atlanta metro region a premier sports focused event management
company dedicated to hosting events with sophistication, style, elegance, and warmth - true to the
culture of Southern Hospitality. The SoHo executive team has over a decade of experience managing
events ranging from United States Congressional hearings to beer olympics, and everything in-between.
Brief Bios
Mr. Herring has worked for the congress in several capacities since 2003. His experience working side-
by-side with Senators, Congressmen, and other high ranking government officials is an invaluable asset
to SoHo. The logistical expertise needed to plan and execute congressional delegations, field hearings,
fund raisers, legislative sessions, business meetings, and constituency outreach, often times
simultaneously, is a rare trait.
Mr. Beasley, a technology security professional by trade, delivers an unparalleled detail-oriented
approach that is essential to executing large scale events. His experience planning, coordinating, and
executing small and large events provides SoHo the experience needed to orchestrate and deliver first
class social events. The skills necessary to plan and manage casino social functions, conferences,
training seminars, and team building events allows SoHo to provide services that other events
management companies are typically not equipped to handle.
SoHo’s executive management team and event coordinator have over 40 years of combined experience.
From front to back, Southern Hospitality will be there every step of the way when planning for and
executing your events. From the initial marketing campaign, to event coordination, to providing
customer and client feedback from event participants, SoHo provides the industry’s consummate
package.
