It works like this: you put some money down, typically around $1,000-
2,000, and agree to a 10,15 or 20-year agreement. The company installs PV panels on your roof and the lease covers all
maintenance costs, including inverter replacement. You pay them a fixed rate for the electricity that’s produced by the panels. Little Money Down, Immediate Energy Savings.
2. POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT (PPA) -
A third-party developer owns, operates, and maintains the photovoltaic (PV) system, and a host customer agrees to site the
