Song of Solomon 5:7-9

*1. The Song of Solomon is a play.

*2. The picture in the play is a young couple in love

*But the subject being treated is Christ’s love for His church, or in Old Testament times, God’s love for Israel.

*3. SOS 5:1-6 represents a misunderstanding on the part of the church, the bride.

The watchman is a type for the pastor/preacher.

If he isn’t going to

*Correct you

*Direct you and

*Motivate you

back to the Lord, he is pretty much a waste of your time.

The question is, how will you respond to the pain?

A. Tell himChristian, take the requests of others for prayer seriously!

B. I am sick of love

She is asking them to tell the Lord, she longs for Him. 

C. If ye find my belovedThough it is always best to have others praying for us and with us, the responsibility for our fellowship with and obedience to Christ always falls on ourselves.

Christ just went around telling people the truth:

*That sin would send a man to hell

*That religion was broken and not helping them and

*That faith in Him was the only way to restore fellowship with God and live with Him eternally.
