Adjunct Faculty The Tulane University School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) Digital Design Program is seeking applicants for adjunct instructors with the following expertise for this coming Fall 2018 semester and beyond: 2D & 3D Animation Game Art Game Engine (Unreal) Character Modeling / Rigging Digital Imaging/Illustration Ideal applicants will have 5+ years of experience in one or more of the above areas and hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree. Adjunct faculty are needed to teach 1–2 classes per semester with optional classes during the summer semesters. SoPA courses meet twice per week—once in person, once online—over a 16-week semester (fall/spring). Although adjuncts do not hold regular office hours, they are expected to be available for student support as needed. Graduates of SoPA Digital Design are prepared to enter a highly competi- tive workforce in the industries of graphic design, game art and ux design. 2018 promises to be an exciting year for SoPA Digital Design as new curriculum is underway and initiatives to provide students with expanded class offerings, more in-depth course learning outcomes, upgraded and industry-relevant equipment, expanded expert faculty and much more.
