Scientific soundness (���)

The present paper deals with an important concern about toxicokinetics of BPA, and

the experimental design seems to be adequate. Metabolic differences between

humans and rats are at moment an important issue considering risk assessment of

BPA, then data presented should be taken into account.

The need to consider the intestinal metabolism, and its capacity in the metabolism of

xenobiotics is supported by literature and has been recognized.

Statistical and mathematical analysis: all the graphs are completely lacking of SD,

and only points estimates are given. It is particularly critical on the fitting parameters

of figure 4.
