(An amazing dish from Punjabi, prepared with mixed vegetables and cooked in rich tomato gravy called 'makhani' gravy,consisting of cashew paste, garam masala and dry fenugreek leaves; finished with a splash of fresh cream and butter)

(A mixture of masoor and moong dal cooked with spinach and tempered with golden fried garlic and cumin and finishedwith freshly chopped coriander leaves and tomatoes)

(A meal in itself, notoriously famous thin pancake of rice and lentils, stuffed with delicately spiced south Indian stylepotatoes, carrot and peas. Served with sambar, coconut chutney and red onion chutney)
