The Policy sets OB3 development area for the South Moravian Region:The area is affected by the development dynamics of the regional capital of Brno. It is a very strong concentration of population and economic activities, to a large extent of international significance; a development-promoting factor is its good accessibilty by motorways and speedways as well as by the 1st transit railway corridor. Growing international cooperation ties connect this area mainly to the areas of Vienna and Bratislava.
