@SWPS

In 1J we have been trying hard to manage our distractions. We are learning to notice distractions and

decide how we manage those distractions. For example someone is distracting us then we ask them to

stop and we stay focused on our learning or if we are sitting on the floor and someone is distracting us

then we can move away from that person. By managing our distractions we are maximising our quality

learning.

TENNIS The SWPS tennis team had a convincing win over The Rock last Friday. All students played top quality tennis against tough opposition and as usual displayed excellent sportsmanship. They now wait excitedly to hear who their opposition will be in the next round.

On Wednesday KJ were so excited to have a visit from Clive's cousin who works at the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. She brought with her a 7 month old joey who she is caring for. KJ realised that looking after a joey is just like looking after a baby! They sleep a lot, they drink milk and they like to keep warm. KJ have decided they would love to visit the zoo at the end of the year to see the wallaby in the walk through enclosure.

Personal Facebook Accounts

Parents are reminded that before they publish photos of other students taking part in school activities on their personal facebook, they need to contact the school or the parents of the children in the photo.
