Try something new! - Decide now you are going to do it. Breathe a heavy sigh and say to yourself, "I’m going to do this!" Sometimes, it is difficult to decide to do something that you haven’t done before. Focus on your "learning health"! Find the continuing and community education catalog from your local college, university, or community... or peruse the Southwest RESA website under the link for Professional Learning. Next, share what you learn with those you work with, your family and others you come in contact with. Lifelong learning is invigorating and often intoxicating. The irony is that truly our learning often takes place on our own time and through our own volition. And that’s the beauty of lifelong learning and choosing for ourselves that which we will learn.
