Space camp was a memorable week. It was the best experience of my life and I would love to do it over and over and over again!!! At space camp you got to pretend what it was like to be an astronaut. I would love to be one when I grow up! Space camp changed my life and made me more grown up and more brave.

Student Year 5

Space Camp was definitely a life changing adventure for me. It showed me many different views of the world. I have learned a lot about past and future explorations of space. It was an enjoyable learning experience. When we first think about rockets, we think astronauts. Astronauts are an important part of space exploration, but there are many scientists and engineers who contribute in the process. I felt this was just like our team of space cadets. There were many people who helped with the journey, but there were many other people and who worked “behind the scenes.” From my journey, I believe I have gained new friendships and have become much more independent than before the trip. I have been inspired and motivated from this excursion and it has definitely changed my life.

Space camp was a once in a life time experience. It is an adventure I will never forget and has given me the thirst to see and try new experiences. Before space camp I felt like I was just a normal school kid and was always very shy. I wasn't open to ideas and I never contributed in class discussions. Space camp has made me an entirely new person and now I am open and participate in all activities that include teamwork. It feels like it was just yesterday when submitted my expression of interest to go to space camp. Space camp gave opportunities that every kid would dream of.

Student Year 6

Space Camp to me highlighted the value of dreams and passion - the importance of asking "why not"? Apart from, and more important than, the science and history, it has possibly reinforced with all involved that if you want something and are prepared to work, accept advice from " a can do " perspective and not take too personally the rumblings of negativity and doubt of some, than wonderful things can be achieved. The issues and dramas of the whole project are now laughed at but the emotive of memories of achieving so much is life enhancing.
