Writing and sending an email

Note: When entering a message, use the * key to access the list of symbols, and the # key to change the type of input (lowercase, uppercase, numbers)

Note: When using Bluetooth, avoid trying to connect to devices belonging to people you do not know.

Making your device visible

Pairing your device with another device

Note: To exchange data using Bluetooth, you must pair the devices concerned.

1.FromtheHomescreen,presstheOKkey.2.SelectSettingsinthemenuandpresstheOKkey.3.SelectWirelessandNetworksintheSettingsmenu.4.SelectBluetoothandclickOKusingthe buttononthetoplefthandside.5.SelectMydevice.6.PresstheOKkeytostartthesearch.

Note: The search will then start. Nearby devices that are also using Bluetooth will appear on the list.

Making your phone secureChanging the PIN code of the SIM card

Note: Your SIM card is protected by the PIN code. You will be prompted when you switch on your mobile. The default PIN code will be 1234 or 0000, if you have never changed it before. To keep your data safe and secure, enabling and/or changing your PIN is strongly recommended.

1.SelectSecuritySettings.2.ThenselectSIMSecurity.3.ThenselectChangePIN.4.EnterthecurrentPINcodeoftheSIMcard.5.EnteranewPIN.6.PresstheOKkeytoconfirm.7.EnterthenewPINagaintoconfirmthechange.

Changing the lock code

Note: The lock code is a personal code that prevents anyone from using your phone.

Note: The default lock code is 0000.

1.SelectSecuritySettings.2.ThenselectPhoneSecurity.3.ActivatethephonelockbyselectingPhoneLock.4.YoucanchangethepasswordbyselectingChangePassword.

Deleting all phone dataRestoring factory settings

Whenrestoringdata,thefactorysettingswillbeapplied.Thismeansthatallphonesettingswillbechangedbacktothephone'soriginalsettings.However,allpersonaldata(suchasSMS,MMSandcontactssavedonthephone)willbesaved.

1.SelectRestorefactorysettingsandpresstheOKkey.2.Pressthe buttononthetoplefthandsidetovalidate.

Doing a master resetWhenyouresetthephone,allpersonaldata(suchastextmessages,multimediamessages,andcontactssavedonthephone)inthephonewillbedeleted.Theoriginalsettingswillberestored.TheresetwillnotaffectthedatastoredontheSIMcard.

Note: Perform this operation when you wish to give the phone to a new owner on a permanent basis.
