To the Rose OUTBACK Bowl

Spartans loss on Saturday to Wisconsin is all the talk on

campus…

Despite Saturdays game resulted with a final score of 37-31 in Wisconsin’s favor, Michigan

State football had a great season. The debacle now; Was Michigan State not worthy of a BCS bid? Contrary to previous hopes, Spartans will

not see a Rose Bowl this year.

Michigan State Spartans will now head to Tampa, Florida to play the Georgia Bulldogs in the Outback

Bowl. This decision and Saturdays loss is the hot topic on campus, so I

set out and got some reactions.

“considering alcohol didn't let me remember the game, when I heard the next morning that we lost I was distraught. But at the same time comfortable losing Wisconsin, they’re a really good team.”

“It was a tough loss, but I’m proud of the game. I feel like we played a very good physical and tough game. Yes, it would have been nice to play in the Rose Bowl, but the Outback Bowl will be a great game for us. We’re playing the Georgia Bulldogs, a very good team, and its going to be a great game.”
