Dr Milan J N Meetarbhan was involved in the setting up of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. He was Senior Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister and Head of the government’s policy unit from 1995 to 1998. Dr Meetarbhan served as Chairperson of Mauritius Telecom from 1998 to 2000. He studied law in London and Paris and received doctorate in International Law from the Sorbonne. He was conferred the title of Honorary Fellow in Law by the University of Mauritius.

Yandraduth Googoolye has been Acting Governor of the Bank of Mauritius from 16th February 2010 till now. Sunil Benimadhu has held various positions in the Securities industry. He has played an instrumental role in uplifting the infrastructure of the SEM. Mr Benimadhu has also spearheaded the project to enable the SEM join the World Federation of Exchanges.
