Dr. Azni Zain Ahmed is a Professor in the University of Technology Mara (UiTM), Malaysia in

the Faculty of Applied Sciences. She has over 120 papers in to her credit in the areas of

solar energy and daylight modelling, thermal comfort, solar energy technologies and

energy efficiency in buildings.

Dr. Azni Zain Ahmed is currently the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Leadership) at the

university's Institute of Leadership and Development (ILD). Throughout her career at UiTM,

she has won the Excellence Service Award 4 times and in 2016 was given the Pioneer

Award in Renewable Energy by the World Renewable Energy Network for her contributions

to the field of energy, the university, the country and the international climate change

movement.

Dr. Azni Zain Ahmed will deliver lecture on Commercialization of Intellectual Property.

Prof. Dr Roziah Binti Mohd Janor is Professor of Statistics at the Faculty of Computer

Sciences & Mathematics, UiTM, Malaysia. Her area of teaching and research include

Measurement in Quality, Data Envelopment Analysis, University Impact Study, Structural

Equation Modelling, Customer Satisfaction Modelling, and Survey Design.

Currently Prof. Dr Roziah Binti Mohd Janor is serving as Assistant Vice Chancellor at

Institute Quality & Knowledge Advancement, is now overseeing all the quality initiatives of

the university, including institutional accreditation, programme accreditation and quality

excellence model. She is also the Director of the University Ranking Project, one of the

projects under UiTM Transformation Programme, that is responsible for placing UiTM

Selangor within the top 500 of world's best universities and within the top 200 of Asia's best

universities.

Dr. Roziah Binti Mohd Janor will deliver lecture on Accreditation and Ranking.

The higher education domain had made a definite stride from the

era of publishing to the era of generating intellectual properties. Not just

getting patented but effective commercialization of intellectual property

has become the key. The first part of the workshop attempts to address

the key issues in IP generation and its commercialization.

International Accreditation and Ranking have become the

hallmark of Quality Higher Education across the world. The second part

of this workshop attempts to provide the key parameters of excellence in

succeeding International Accreditation and Ranking.

About the Programme

B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent University (Estd. u/s 3 of the UGC

Act. 1956, India), formerly Crescent Engineering College is acclaimed

throughout India for its quality in teaching and research. The University is

committed to focus on three dimensions of higher education Viz., quality

teaching, innovative research and appropriate applications of knowledge
