Opportunity to help mothers during May!
Project Defending Life needs diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6 and diaper wipes. Diapers and wipes can be sent directly by going to their website: www.defendinglife.org and clicking on Amazon List and have them delivered to 729 San Mateo Blvd NE 87108-1434. You can also donate directly to the clinic on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Call (505) 266-4100 to let them know you will be delivering the items.
They help to provide many other needs to these families, but have limited storage space.
So, you can donate by writing "Mommy Fund" on your check. This will ensure that the money goes to specific items that a mother needs.
Birthright needs newborn baby clothes. Baby clothes and checks payable to "Birthright" can be sent to the following address: 12723 Desert Marigold Ln. NE, 87111. This is the home of Kathleen Bickel, (505) 797-9494.

Pope's Prayer Intention for the month of MayBrought to you by the Knights of Columbus Council #14379
For Deacons: We pray that deacons, faithful in their service to the Word and the poor, may be an invigorating symbol for the entire Church.
An Act of Spiritual CommunionMy Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen
