THE WK&F GROUP AND VP PRODUCTIONS TRAVEL PARTNER WITHTHE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER TO CLEAN UP MIAMI BEACHES

The Miami Beach Convention Center participates in the Adopt-a-Beach Program imple-mented by the Environmental Coalition of Miami and the Beaches (ECOMB). The Adopt-A-Beach program is not just about litter. It is also about the need for clean oceans, shore-lines, and waterways. Local residents work together to create permanent solutions to shore-line and marine debris. The oceans and waterways have been a dumping ground for man-made debris for thousands of years. The harmful effects of litter are severe: negative eco-nomic and aesthetic impacts, harm and risk to human health and safety, injury and deathto animals through entanglement and ingestion, and habitat destruction. The WK&F Groupand VP Productions Travel have partnered with the Miami Beach Convention Center toclean up their ‘adopted’ portion of the beach between 17th and 18th Streets in an inter-est to give back, the South Beach Group expressed interest with the Beach Sweep andwill have volunteers on hand to assist as well. In 2011, The WK&F Group and VPProductions Travel partnered with ECOMB in the 'Beach Sweep' to help carry out their mis-sion and demonstrate their commitment to clean public areas. 40+ of the Miami TakeOverparticipants helped 'clean-up' a portion of the beach between The Shelbourne and TheRoyal Palm on Sunday, July 24, 2011. We were set to continue with the Beach Sweepfor the Miami TakeOver 2012, but due to severe weather conditions, we had to cancelthe Beach Sweep. This year, the Miami Takeover committee looks forward to giving backto the South Beach community again with a beach sweep, equipped with giveaways anda great time for all volunteers. Be sure you’re there for this charitable afternoon in the sunon Sunday, July 14 from 11:30am – 1:00pm. To volunteer, meet us on the sidewalk bythe beach at 17th Street at 11:00am.

THE WK&F GROUP AND VP PRODUCTIONS TRAVEL PARTNER WITHTHE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER TO CLEAN UP MIAMI BEACHES

The Miami Beach Convention Center participates in the Adopt-a-Beach Program imple-mented by the Environmental Coalition of Miami and the Beaches (ECOMB). The Adopt-A-Beach program is not just about litter. It is also about the need for clean oceans, shore-lines, and waterways. Local residents work together to create permanent solutions to shore-line and marine debris. The oceans and waterways have been a dumping ground for man-made debris for thousands of years. The harmful effects of litter are severe: negative eco-nomic and aesthetic impacts, harm and risk to human health and safety, injury and deathto animals through entanglement and ingestion, and habitat destruction. The WK&F Groupand VP Productions Travel have partnered with the Miami Beach Convention Center toclean up their ‘adopted’ portion of the beach between 17th and 18th Streets in an inter-est to give back, the South Beach Group expressed interest with the Beach Sweep andwill have volunteers on hand to assist as well. In 2011, The WK&F Group and VPProductions Travel partnered with ECOMB in the 'Beach Sweep' to help carry out their mis-sion and demonstrate their commitment to clean public areas. 40+ of the Miami TakeOverparticipants helped 'clean-up' a portion of the beach between The Shelbourne and TheRoyal Palm on Sunday, July 24, 2011. We were set to continue with the Beach Sweepfor the Miami TakeOver 2012, but due to severe weather conditions, we had to cancelthe Beach Sweep. This year, the Miami Takeover committee looks forward to giving backto the South Beach community again with a beach sweep, equipped with giveaways anda great time for all volunteers. Be sure you’re there for this charitable afternoon in the sunon Sunday, July 14 from 11:30am – 1:00pm. To volunteer, meet us on the sidewalk bythe beach at 17th Street at 11:00am.
