Reimagine your career
Growing employees through effective
Learning and Development (L&D)
interventions is top of mind for most
organisations who understand that
the best way to meet critical skills
shortages is to grow knowledge and
skills internally. L&D is conducted
by trainers, line managers and other
experts who have not necessarily
learnt the specialised L&D skills
needed to drive learning successfully.
Reimagine your career when you
have specialised L&D skills and you
understand the L&D landscape and
can deliver L&D interventions in
ways that will meet the needs of both
people and organisations.
Whether you are an L&D practitioner, a
line manager required to train staff or
a technical trainer who is drawn on to
share expertise with others, this course
will provide you with the specialised
skills required to build a professional
L&D function in your organisation or
department.

Course overview
Target audience
This course provides any Learning
and Development (L&D) practitioner,
trainer or technical trainer with a set
of specialised L&D tools to apply
as they teach others. Learners are
taught to assist the adult learner and
the organisation to identify learning
needs and then assist in providing
high-quality learning solutions that
are assessed and certified. The
professionalism of the L&D function is
a constant theme, teaching learners to
apply legal and strategic frameworks
to the development of a high-quality
L&D function that adds business value.
The target market of this course is
L&D practitioners, training officers
or technical trainers. The course has
purposely been called Specialised
Learning and Development as the
modern organisation often calls on
business professionals or experts to
deliver L&D solutions when they do
not have the specialised L&D skill set
to do so.
