Scanning should be done for both Uplink and downlink
frequency. Also make sure the scanning bandwidth falls
under our F1 and F2 band.
Below is setting in case above mentioned frequency(our
current scenario)
DL UARFCN:10675
UL UARFCN: 9725
Scanning bandwidth(span): 20MHZ
Note: above UARFCN is the middle UARFCN for our existing
F1 and F2.
Steps for Frequency scanning
Note: please charge the device completely before moving to
site.
1. Connect Charger(use DC charger cable to charge in car), antenna properly

Havent shown use of extension cable, to extend antenna out of vehicle plz use
enxtension cable.
2 . Power on the device

2.Open YBT 250 software

3.Set the values for scanning
a. Select WCDMA_1 2100b. Select DLc. Set channel to 10675d. Set Span to 20Mhz
Note: tools will show two graph i.e 1. Spectrum and spectrogram need both graph both for UL and
DL. UL steps is illustrated later.

For UL, U can directly click uplink button as shown but remember the DL UARFCN(channel) should beas per given, when you switch to UL using the button the UL UARFCN should change automatically to
given value. Below is shown

4.Save the graph-pause the scanning
-go to file
-click export screen as
It will automatically changeUL button

-Make new folder as of your name to save all graph in same place
Then go inside the folder and save the file with below format name
File name: Point1-DL-YYYYMMDD-HHMM-1/2
Descriptin: Point1 is name of the point given, DL means Downlink scanning( for uplink
will be UL), YYYMMMDD:year,month,date, HHMM: hour and minute,1-spectrum
graph/2-spectrogram graph.
Similarly follow for UL and DL for both Spectrum and Spectrogram graph.

You will see two drives: Builtindisk and hard disk as shown below
Builtindisk: its internal disk of spectrum analyzer, is place where you will save
your graph in previous step of saving.
Hard disk: its USB drive and will only appear when we insert usb drive. Note
it will take some time to appear it after it will be inserted , wait 1 minuteabout.

Now select and copy files from where you have save

Each Point scanning test Need 4 picture
1. DL Spectrum2. DL Spectrograph3. UL Spectrum4. UL spectrograph5. Excel containing Point name, Longitude, Latitude (exact long/lat should be
mentioned and the test point should be on 20 radius from provided Long/Lat)
Naming rule:
File name: Point1-DL-YYYYMMDD-HHMM-1/2
Descriptin: Point1 is name of the point given, DL means Downlink scanning( for uplink
will be UL), YYYMMMDD:year,month,date, HHMM: hour and minute,1-spectrum
graph/2-spectrogram graph.
