WELCOME TO STRASBOURG!

Why exhibit at the Congress?

The 12th European ITS Congress, Strasbourg 19 - 22 June, 2017Strasbourg occupies a strategic position in the heart of Europe. The city’s growth dynamic is driven by an innovative economy, a world-class university which works closely with industry and a comprehensive real estate offering.

CONCENTRATED BRAINPOWERAs a leading French university in the Shanghai ranking and boasting 3 active Nobel Prize winners, Strasbourg has an exceptional record in higher education and scientific research.

STRASBOURG, PIONEER OF URBAN TRAVELStrasbourg’s tram system is the largest in France. Strasbourg was the first city in France to opt for a return to the use of trams in order to change the way the city operates, and contribute to a healthier climate.Based on the 2015 Copenhagen index, Strasbourg is the 4th most bicycle-friendly city in the world and enjoys 15% modal share in the city centre and 8% in the metro area. It is unique in that there are more cargo bikes than in most cities in Europe. The city has been highly active in promoting the use of bicycles, with extensive cycle parking facilities and a large-scale bike hire scheme. The city is also a pioneer in other areas of sustainable mobility, by improving the walkability, building an extensive network of cycle tracks, introducing car sharing schemes and a new road code.

A LABORATORY FOR INNOVATIVE MOBILITYStrasbourg is a benchmark for innovative mobility. The city has introduced a new road code and set up social areas within the city, a clear sign of its strategy for sharing the public space and delivering an excellent quality of life for its inhabitants.Cars will, of course, always be part and parcel of city life, but their use must be subject to certain conditions in line with environmental concerns.

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES

ACCESS IS KEYExhibiting at the ITS Congress gives unprecedented access to the entire ITS Community in one location, with four dedicated days of networking and business. The Congress brings together over forty-plus countries key industry players and decision makers. From the latest start-ups to the most established and recognisable companies.

BRANDING WORKSThis is a unique opportunity to promote and showcase your solutions to an audience of thousands. Our aim, and yours, is to get as many of the right people as possible to the Congress, and talking to you. The exhibitor zone enables you to upload press releases, news, videos and sales material onto your area on the site, which we also use in regular industry email updates which are broadcast to the entire visitor database telling them why they should come and talk to you at the show. We’ll give you PDF initiations to send to your current and prospective customers, branded e-invitations which you can email.

BUSINESS & NETWORKING The event plays a vital role in bringing buyers, sellers, specifiers and users from across the industry together to share ideas, information and experience. Exhibitors consistently report an exceptionally high quality of visitors to the show. Feedback from surveys show the majority of exhibitors meet visitors they wouldn’t see elsewhere, giving them the opportunity to meet new potential customers as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. The Congress is a key event for meeting old contacts and making new ones, and networking is central to the event experience. The social programme at the close of each day of business brings the industry together for the perfect opportunity to continue conversation and debate.

ESSENTIAL LEARNINGBy exhibiting, you position yourself among the latest ITS solutions and advanced technologies that delegates are looking for. This allows you to educate potential customers, to retain your competitive edge; and make sure they are aware that you are not only in the marketplace but are part of the future of mobility.
