The French Film Festival UKevery year provides a glittering,stimulating and, at times, challengingarray of titles at leading cinemasthroughout the country.Cities covered include London,Birmingham, Manchester, Warwick,Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow,Aberdeen and Dundee.
The French Film Festival began in1992 in a modest way in two Scottishcities, and gradually has grown tobecome encompassEngland and Wales.The festival presents a widespectrum of French-language cinemafrom major hits to cutting edge newdirectors and retrospectives.
Organised by The French FilmFestival Ltd, the event’s loyalpartners have included Institutfrançais du Royaume-Uni,Alliance française, ScottishScreen and Unifrance with thesupport of such companies asTotal,Blason deBourgogne, Sofitel,Air France, SkyArts, TV5, andmany others.
Film-makers and actors from theFrench film industry accompanymany of the screenings and a growingeducation programme seesthousands of students, pupils andteachers in attendance.
