Fred Trueman is widely seen as one of the greatest fast bowlers in cricketing history. He took 307 wickets in 67 tests for England during the 1950s and 60s, which was at the time a world record. Known as “Fiery Fred”, he and Brian Statham formed one of the most feared and famous opening bowling partnerships the game has ever seen. He sent nearly his entire career with Yorkshire, but his fiery nature often bought him into conflict with the cricket establishment which he criticised for its snobbish and elitist attitudes.

Robert Dunlop was a Northern Irish motorcycle racer, and the younger brother of fellow racer, Joey Dunlop. He was a 5 time Isle of Man TT winner, and finished on the podium on a total of 14 occasions. In 2005 he became the first racer to be chosen into the Irish Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Just like his brother Joey, Robert was also sadly killed in a racing accident. The crash occurred in May 2008 during a practice session at the North West 200 Roberts two children, Michael and Will have also forged successful racing carers. Michael became the first rider in Isle of Man TT history to achieve a lap in under 17 minutes and has achieved 19 TT podium finishes and 13 wins.
