Problem: Historically, FC has been

challenged in creating an initiative that can

bring campus together across boundaries

to support student success in a sharedfashion

Medanos to build connections and allowinitiative planning to develop organically

Fullerton Colleges Theory of Change

If we create a Habits of Mind Community of Practice,

then we can discuss best practices with a key group of

committed educators. This will foster a shared

understanding of how our practice reflects and could beimproved by attention to the HoM, so that we can

develop a campus-wide HoM initiative. The result will be

a more sophisticated and nuanced understanding among

educators and students of what it means to be a

successful learner.
