We have a variety of small groups, which consist of Bible studies, accountability groups, restoration/recov-ery, outreach, fellowship and recreation. We also wouldlove to see you take the 212 Challenge , a weekend en-counter followed by 12 weeks of discipleship. Some of our topics include: Priorities, Prayer, Biblical Reading,Fasting, Guarding your Eyes and Ears, Financial Stew-ardship, Connecting with The Family of God, Character and Integrity, The Love Walk, and Serving your way to

aBout smaLL Groups

Getting connected at Church 212° means a visit to the Pastorshome for a special dinner in your honor and becoming part of a small group. Small groups provide healthy relationships andhow to apply biblical truths to put into everyday practice. Smallgroups allow Church 212° to grow smaller as we grow larger.

Bible Fac s abo Small Gro ps: The book of Acts recordsthe rst church in Jerusalem. The small groups in the earlychurch were held in homes. Acts 5:42 tells us that the peoplemet in the temple courts and from house to house. In the NewTestament times, small groups were essential for fellowship,relationships and prayer. Today they serve the same purpose.By joining a small group you will nd ful llment as you connectwith others in serving and you will experience God’s love in avery warm accepting environment.

Wha pes of small gro ps do Ch rch 212° offer? Thereare many different types of groups including Bible study,prayer, recovery, missions, fellowship, sports and much more.These groups are located throughout the valley and leadersuse their gifts and talents to create an environment that con-nect people looking for purpose, vision, and support as theyface daily challenges in life.

How can I ge s ar ed? Some groups are starting in the falland many are throughout the year. All groups are ready towelcome you into their home. Look for a group that interestsyou and call the leader for more information.

CharaCteristiCs of smaLL Groups

• They meet weekly or monthly.• They have a leader with at least three people at-

tending.

• They meet in homes unless otherwise speci ed.

• They develop and train group members into futureleaders.

• The group meetings provide one or more of the fol-lowing: Prayer, Bible study, Worship, and fellowship.

• The groups are warm and inviting.

• The Pastor and Elders support the leaders.

• They recruit, train, mobilize people into ministry andappreciate their efforts.

• They are an outreach to the community.

• They give pastoral care to the each individual.

• They grow and divide into other groups placing aleader over the new group.

In our name “Church 212º” (boiling point), we have declared that weare going the extra degree. At 211º water is HOT at 212º it BOILS!Our goal is to turn it up one degree in our lives, to go the extra mile.We strive to do a better job at everything we set our hands to.

Church 212º’s mission is: Restoring People with the love of God,Igniting Passion by authentic Praise and Worship and Revealing God’s Purpose to our generation through the ministry of reconcili-ation.

Participating in our growth track, the “212 Challenge”– the rst de-sire we have is to lead people to Christ by accepting Him as Lord,Romans 8:9&10 ; afterward, accepting the call to be true disciples of Jesus Christ. What does a true disciple look like? How does a truedisciple act? How will the world know we are His disciples?

Christianity is not just an event; it is a transformational process of discipleship that the Holy Spirit works in us: “Now the Lord is theSpirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And weare being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory,which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)

A disciple is... a pupil; a learner. Its name is derived from the root

“discipline”. Jesus calls us to be disciples when he said, “Come untome, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden light.” (Matthew11:28, 29)
