Nozzle extensions: these are par-ticularly suitable for use whencoating cavities (e.g. pipes, can-isters, tins or other containers).In many cases, the length andshape of the nozzle extensioncan be adapted to suit specialcustomer requirements. Ready-made nozzle extensions are alsoavailable.

HS 25Gravity feed

This high-performance spray gunis suitable for use with a widerange of media. The spray gun isequipped with a fine-tune airregulator as standard to allowprecision metering of the air vol-ume. The built-in jet regulatingvalve allows continuous adjust-ment from an extremely fine cir-cular jet to a full flat jet, and thismeans that the jet width can beadjusted to suit different work-pieces during the spraying proc-ess. The handy, well-balanceddesign ensures fatigue-free oper-ation. The integrated plastic han-dle is also an advantage duringcontinuous use, as it preventsthe highly cooled compressed airfrom chilling the surface of thehandle. The main element ismade of an anodised, corrosion-resistant light metal alloy. Thematerial nozzles and needles aremade of stainless steel as stand-ard but are also available intungsten carbide, plastic etc. forspecial applications.

There are several options for ma-terial feed. Guns are availablewith material connection hosenozzles or with a range of gravi-ty cups. There is also a wide se-lection of nozzles and needles ofvarious sizes. The spray gun cannaturally also be used in combi-nation with our material feedcontainers, diaphragm pumpsand regulators.

Parts in contact with the coat-ing substance

The parts of the spray gun thatcome into contact with the coat-ing material are made of alumin-ium (housing) and stainless steel(material needle and nozzle) aswell as brass and plastic (gas-kets); the gravity cups are madeof aluminium, copper or plastic.

Perfekt 4Suction feed

The modern standard spray gunPerfekt 4 is suitable for a widerange of applications. The spraygun is equipped with a fine-tuneair regulator as standard to allowprecision metering of the air vol-ume. The built-in jet regulatingvalve allows continuous adjust-ment from an extremely fine cir-cular jet to a full flat jet, and thismeans that the jet width can beadjusted to suit different work-pieces during the spraying proc-ess. The handy, lightweight de-sign ensures fatigue-free opera-tion. The main element is madeof a corrosion-resistant lightmetal alloy and has a polishedsurface to facilitate the removalof material remains. The materialnozzles and needles are made ofstainless steel as standard butare also available in tungstencarbide, plastic etc. for specialapplications.

Perfekt 4 pressure feed

The spray gun Perfekt 4 pressurefeed is a special design for thespraying of structured or graincoatings, adhesives, plasticagents, underseal, sound-proof-ing agents etc.

The material is pressurised in thecup to improve the flowability ofthese highly viscous media. Therequired air is dissipated in theair duct of the spray gun so thatthe material pressure corre-sponds to the atomiser air pres-sure (max. 4 bar).

The Perfekt 4 pressure feed spraygun works in the same way asthe Perfekt equi-pressure model,but the gravity cup facilitateshandling in a wide range of ap-plications.

The Mignon 3 is a high-perform-ance all-round spray gun meet-ing the highest standards. Theergonomically shaped handle ismade of a lightweight, solvent-resistant plastic. The main ele-ment is made of surface-fin-ished, forged aluminium.

Dekor

The Dekor airbrush is specificallydesigned for precision sprayingwork and is therefore also idealfor retouching, colouring, sten-cilling, technical illustrations anddecorative painting in the ce-ramics and toy industry.

Depending on requirements, theDekor model is available withtwo different material feed sys-tems (suction cup or gravity cup).The relatively large suction cup issuitable for spraying larger sur-faces. It is mounted on the sideof the gun and can therefore bechanged easily and rapidly. Whenperforming precision paintingwork, however, the size of thesuction cup can prove to be ahindrance. The gravity cap(screwed onto the top of thegun) is smaller and ensures easi-er handling.

The Dekor model has a single ac-tion trigger-lever function thatregulates the air and materialvolumes in a fixed ratio. It is,however, also possible to adjustmaterial feed by turning the stopscrew.

During production, the Dekor issubject to stringent quality con-trol procedures. Each part is pre-cision-tested to ensure a finelydistributed, uniform spray profile.The most important factors inthis respect include the proper-ties of the needle point and thenozzle opening. As the nozzle tipoften measures only a few hun-dredths of a millimetre, checksare carried out using a micro-scope.

KS1 airless spray gun

The airless spray gun, type KS1,is used to coat surfaces such asmetal, plastic, ceramics, woodand similar materials as well asother suitable surfaces. Typicalcoating materials include paints,dyes, water-soluble paints, adhe-sives, oils, release agents etc.The KS1 gun can also be used toprocess abrasive coating materi-als at operating pressures below5 MPa (50 bar). The coating ma-terial is supplied to the spray gunin liquid form under high materi-al pressure.

The spray gun works on the “air-less” principle – in other words,the spray jet is generated solelyby the high fluid pressure as itpasses through a nozzle. Afterexiting the nozzle, the spray jettakes on the shape dictated bythe nozzle. The jet is directed atthe workpiece, and the effectivespray jet is not quite as wide astheoretically possible.

A wide range of airless nozzlesare available. The nozzle can berotated through a 360° in theaxis of the spray jet and arrestedin any position. This permits op-timum adjustment of the angleat which the jet hits the work-piece to the prevailing condi-tions. The KS model is particular-ly suitable for use where com-paratively large volumes of ma-terial are to be processed perunit of time. Compared to sprayguns driven by compressed air, afurther advantage is that there isless spray mist, ensuring that afar greater proportion of coatingmaterial reaches the target sur-face. Circulation connection isalso possible.

The Krautzberger Duo systemcan be seen as a further devel-opment of the airless system.A well-balanced combination ofthe airless technique and com-pressed air produces an opti-mum homogeneous spray jet of-fering a wide range of advan-tages for many applications. Aswith airless spray guns, atomisa-tion is achieved without air us-ing a special nozzle.

The spray jet is enriched withadditional compressed air fedthrough boreholes which arespecially adapted to suit theproperties of the material noz-zle. This ensures an extremelysoft jet.

A far lower operating pressurecan be used compared to thepressure required for airlessspraying, and gun and pumpwear is reduced to a minimum.The low “bounce back” and thesoft jet permit coating of “prob-lem parts”. In combination withKrautzberger piston pumps andthe wide selection of nozzles,the Duo H spray gun can be usedto achieve optimum results.

HS 25 2K2-component gun

The Krautzberger high-perform-ance spray gun HS 25 2K is spe-cifically designed for the spray-ing of 2-component dispersionadhesives. In this method, onecomponent is atomised via thespray gun using the conventionalmethod or using the low-mistHVLP method.

The coating material is fed via amaterial hose through the bot-tom connection of the gun. Thesecond component (e.g. activa-tor) is sprayed via an additionalatomisation system mounted onthe side of the gun. The coatingmaterial is fed via a separatematerial hose.

The two components are mixedin the spray jet, and this ex-cludes the possibility of prema-ture reaction of the material.There is no need to constantlymix the components and thereare no predetermined cleaningintervals.

The guns are cleaned after use inthe same way as standard sprayguns. As it retains the full func-tion of the two air humps, thisunique system permits adjust-ment of flat and circular jets.

All parts coming into contactwith the coating material aremade of high-grade stainlesssteel. The gun can be connectedto all low-pressure material sup-ply systems.

TFP 1 release agent pistol

The Krautzberger release agentpistol TFP 1 is designed for thefine atomisation of releaseagents but is also suitable for awide range of other media.

The long gun handle makes iteasier to coat workpieces withhigh backcuts and deep recesses,and the long trigger ensures er-gonomically optimised and fa-tigue-free operation. A modelwith short handle is also availa-ble on request.

Automatic spray gun A 10

The high-performance automaticspray gun A 10 essentially con-sists of two parts: the controlsection and the fluid head sec-tion.

The standard hard-coated headsection can be removed from thecontrol section by unscrewingjust one screw.

The control system is activatedby a 3/2-way valve. Whenswitching on, the compressedair-driven control piston firstopens the spray air valve andthen – a short time later – thematerial nozzle of the gun. Dur-ing switch-off, the material noz-zle is closed, and then the sprayair valve. This control procedureensures faster working and pre-vents material nozzle drip.

The practical design of the A 10makes it extremely repair-friend-ly and facilitates low mainte-nance and cleaning. The compactdesign and the low weight per-mit use of the A 10 under eventhe most unfavourable mountingconditions (e.g. in spraying ma-chines and spraying robots).

The high-performance automaticspray gun A 11 essentially con-sists of two parts: the controlsection and the fluid head sec-tion.

The standard hard-coated headsection is also available in stain-less steel and can be removedfrom the control section by un-screwing just one screw.

The control system is activatedby a 3/2-way valve. Whenswitching on, the compressedair-driven control piston firstopens the spray air valve andthen – a short time later – thematerial nozzle of the gun. Dur-ing switch-off, the material noz-zle is closed, and then the sprayair valve. This control procedureensures faster working and pre-vents material nozzle drip.

Robot spray gun RA 2

The robot spray gun RA 2 was de-signed for conventional com-pressed air spraying with all thebenefits of fine and variable at-omisation. The RA 2 is of com-pact and attractive design.

All parts in contact with the ma-terial are made of high-gradestainless steel. The variable seal-ing system permits spraying ofsolvent-containing, water-diluta-ble or abrasive media.

The spray gun is available withintegrated material circulationand needle adjuster. The separatecontrol of circular jet and flat jetair permits the creation of an au-tomatic jet geometry using suita-ble control and regulating valves(proportional valve technology).Exchangeable distribution crownrings ensure extremely even airpre-distribution.

Automatic spray gun M 10

The automatic spray gun M 10 isof extremely compact design andtherefore suitable for use wherestandard automatic spray gunscannot be used due to their de-sign and size. Thanks to the gen-erously dimensioned passage-ways, the M 10 can be used fora range of applications. It is, forexample, particularly suitable forinstallation in semi-automatic orfully automatic systems whereseveral spray guns have to bemounted in an extremely smallspace. The gun can be used formarking small components aswell as for coating surfaces.

The spray gun is pneumaticallycontrolled and is fitted with aninternal preliminary air control.The control system is activatedby a mechanical or electrome-chanical 3/2-way valve. Whenswitching on, the compressedair-driven control piston firstopens the atomising air valveand then – a short time later –the material nozzle of the gun.During switch-off, the materialnozzle is closed, and then theatomising air valve. This controlprocedure ensures faster workingand prevents material nozzledrip.

The control section of the gun ismade of anodised aluminium andcan be unscrewed from the spraygun, ensuring easy access to theneedle guide.

The fluid head section and inter-mediate piece of the M 10 aremade of stainless steel and arealso available in anodised alu-minium on request. The material

gaskets are easily accessible inthe detachable head section. Theintermediate piece is fitted witha material connection nipple 1/8” AG as standard. There is also asecond connection on the oppo-site side, but this connection isclosed by a sealing screw exworks. This screw can be re-placed by an additional materialconnection nipple, permittingfast and easy conversion of theM 10 to material circulation.

The M 10 is fitted with a flat jetand a circular jet regulator.

The connections for spraying air(PK 6) and control air (PK 3) arefitted with plug-in couplings asstandard.

The high-performance automaticspray gun A 12 essentially con-sists of two parts: the air controlsection and the fluid head sec-tion.

The robot spray gun Duo RA 2was designed for compressed air-supported high-pressure sprayingusing the “Duo” technique, pro-viding the classic advantages ofhigh coating power and superbsurface quality. The variable seal-ing system permits spraying ofsolvent-containing, water-di-lutable or abrasive media.

The new Duo A 2 generation ofautomatic spray guns combinesthe advantages of the airlesstechnique and the known bene-fits of compressed air atomisa-tion in a special way. The multi-air distribution system integratedin the fluid head section distrib-utes the atomisation air extre-mely evenly into the also newlydesigned air nozzle, ensuring anextremely soft and homogeneousspray jet. The required atomiserair is reduced to a minimum, airconsumption is cut, and turbu-lence in the spray profile isavoided. The Duo A 2 techniqueensures superb atomisation, lowoverspray, high coating powerand thus maximum efficiencyand cost reduction when coatingsurfaces.
