Many of you were recently blessed to receive medicine from the greatest physician, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, during his recent teaching tour in Australia.
His Holiness was asked what was the greatest piece of advice he had received and who gave it to him. Instead of specifying a particular bit of advice, His Holiness responded “I am firstly a simple Buddhist monk. And then secondly, I am student of Buddhist philosophy and the Nalanda tradition in particular… these books use logic extensively and their real purpose is how to bring peace of mind. In order to bring peace of mind, there is a thorough explanation of the system of emotion, the system of mind. These texts now are really the ultimate source of peace of mind... That’s best.”
Amazing – due to the kindness of our spiritual director Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the kindness of past, present, and future teachers, we are blessed to have access to these same teachings, the teachings of the Nalanda masters, the teachings that His Holiness considers the greatest advice he has received. Through the knowledge and training of our resident teacher, Geshe Lobsang Jamyang, these teachings are transmitted almost daily at CI. Even if we do not take part in the Basic or Master’s Programme, Geshe-la kindly brings the wisdom of Nalanda to the General Programme and the weekend courses so generously offered by CI. We can all study the system that is “really the ultimate source of peace of mind”.
Why are the Nalanda Masters so precious? His Holiness explains, “Many great thinkers come from that institution, not only Buddhist philosophy but also epistemology and logic, like Dignaga, Dharmakirti… great logicians… Their minds very, very sharp. Further investigation, further argument… They compare and contrast different views. Nagarjuna himself had very much that kind of mind. And then Aryadeva, Buddhapalita, Bhavaviveka, Chandrakirti, all these really great thinkers… When I started to study, very young age,
I just memorized these texts, all of these texts by Nalanda Masters… then each word was explained… then debated through dialectical debate… in my case for 13 years, for other scholars 20, 30, even 40 years… So it is absolutely correct, our tradition comes directly from the Nalanda tradition, we rigorously study these texts”
“So epistemology *logic+ is very, very helpful – it helps us to create doubt, helps us to find any contradictions… after I studied epistemology, then whenever I heard something, my immediate response would be, “Oh, what is the reason? What is the reason?” It is an immense help to increase curiosity. We always trained that way, you see, and immediately you find any contradiction. It is very, very helpful in order to develop investigation, analytical meditation. You need that kind of mental attitude, it’s essential… It is very, very helpful to get a deeper understanding of a subject, and also our mind becomes sharper and our memory increases. Like that.”
We are learning to become comfortable with doubt, but not content with it. We learn how to resolve our doubts so our determination to direct our lives towards positive actions becomes unshakeable. His Holiness reminded us, “Just listening to the teachings is not enough. You may learn something but it is not stable... four principals”

1st. Understand how things function – both in the external world and in the internal mental world, for example – what gives rise to anger? See that the fuel of anger is unhappiness. We need to stop the agitation that precedes anger.
2nd. Understand how things are caused in relation to others, that they are dependent arising.
3rd. Draw conclusions, logical arguments: if this, then that – this is inferential cognition through contemplation and reflection and develops conviction.
4th. Then apply yourself to these principals through meditation to train the mind.
During the Sydney public talk, I personally was nourished by His Holiness’ emphasis on human affection as the source of our best human values. His Holiness laid out reasoning why religions are an outgrowth of these values – not that these values arise from religion. It is these basic human values which need to be cultivated in our homes, our schools, our churches, and temples; again using logic and reasoning His Holiness reminded us that our survival depends on them. His Holiness said, “I consider public most important…of course leaders are important but ultimately everything depends upon the public… I really feel seriousness about 7 billion human beings well-being… Everyone wants a happy life, and does not want suffering, does not want problems. However, many problems are actually our own creation. So here is a big contradiction… Nobody intentionally creates a problem”.
“We become slaves of emotion such as hatred, anger, attachment. So now, since the problem which we created very much deals with our way of thinking, that we can change through awareness… through the use of common sense, looking at the long-term interests and wider perspective”.
“Then we can realize that these negative emotions are very harmful and we should try to minimize these emotions… not through injections, not through drugs, not through alcohol, but through trying to find an opposite force to the emotion. That’s the only way. Like our ignorance, it is removed only through awareness. For example, as long as we are not taught a, b, c, d the ignorance of a, b, c, d will be there. That ignorance will only be removed through learning, this is a; this is b etc. As soon as the awareness of a, b, c, d comes, the ignorance of a, b, c, d is diminished”.
“These emotions are very much based upon a mental projection which is actually
just illusion and the way to remove these illusions is awareness, … Since the problems are own creation, first check our emotions and try to understand them through education, through study, and also use our common sense…”.
“We are basically social animals, no matter how powerful… without others we cannot survive. So for our individual survival, we are entirely dependent upon the rest of society… whether we like it or not, society is the basis of our future. Now thinking along that line… If seven billion human beings are happy and peaceful, we individual people get maximum benefit. If seven billion human beings engage in much violence, bullying, killing, cheating, lying, exploitation, and too much corruption, we individuals cannot escape from that kind of situation. So therefore we have to take care about the rest of humanity. For that again we need strong conviction, or strong sense of oneness with seven billion human beings”.
“Unfortunately our natural ability to be affectionate, kind and compassionate is not sufficient. We need to learn how to strengthen these good qualities and then make effort so with practice they arise consistently and effortlessly towards our families and friends, our neighbours. and co-workers, expanding outwardly for all those who need affection, kindness, compassion – in other words, everyone, our global family, the basis of our future”.
(article by Lhundub Tendron, Masters Program Coordinator)
You can watch all of the teachings and public talks from the 2013 visit on YouTube, go to the Dalai Lama in Australia channel.
Apart from the teachings, he spoke at concerts and conferences, feed the homeless, visited the sick, built bridges between faiths and cultures, along with numerous media commitments
S p r i n g 2 0 1 3 Dealing with Anger P a g e 3
Anger – there’s a lot of it about! We experience it in our relationships with those close and not so close to us and the media constantly reminds us of anger in the wider world. When we are angry those around us suffer – but ultimately we are the ones who are hurt the most. What can we do?
The good news is that something can be done and we are the ones who can do it – but it requires recognition, commitment, and patience. What is it about the word ‘patience’ that is somehow so unappealing? Is it because it sounds like inaction when we feel the need to do something? When we start to investigate we find that patience is indeed the answer.
For some time now Geshe Jamyang’s Wednesday-morning teachings have been on Shantideva’s Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life. Composed in India in the 8th century it is a key Mahayana text – describing how to set out on the path to buddhahood. This may seem rather remote to most of us, but Shantideva’s text is both profound and practical and can help us and those around us to live happier and more positive lives. If we are afflicted with anger – and who isn’t from time to time – then the 6th chapter on Patience is the key.
So we can begin our search by reading a direct translation of the Shantideva text – we have four different translations in the Library - and Shambhala’s The Way of the Bodhisattva edition is perhaps the most accessible. But maybe we would rather start with a contemporary commentary. Here are a few suggestions.
In For the Benefit of all Beings, His Holiness the Dalai Lama pays particular attention to Shantideva’s 6th chapter. As a destructive force there is nothing as strong as anger – patience, on the other hand, as a discipline that neutralises and prevents us succumbing to anger, is unrivalled’. An easy to read introduction to Shantideva’s text.
For those who would like a more extensive explication of anger by His Holiness, Healing Anger: the Power of Patience from a Buddhist Perspective is for you. This is based on a four-day teaching given in the United States which he
introduces by stating that one should not see tolerance or patience as a sign of weakness, but rather as a sign of strength coming from a deep ability to remain steadfast and firm. The techniques and methods presented here are relevant for all who seek to improve themselves and their relationships with others.
But in your search for antidotes to anger you may like to return to the advice of a Western teacher. Pema Chodron’s No Time to Lose takes us through Shantideva’s text explaining clearly how to relate to the inevitable shocks, losses, and frustrations of life so that we can find true happiness. ‘Don’t Bite the Hook: Finding Freedom from Anger, Resentment and other Destructive Emotions’ – is one of Pema’s immensely popular CDs also available from the Library.
Anger by Robert Thurman is an interesting analysis tracing philosophical attitudes to anger before an extensive commentary on Shantideva’s ‘Patience’ chapter.
Thubten Chodron’s Working With Anger does not refer directly to Shantideva but if you are looking for sane straightforward advice on the problem then this is for you – anger and its causes, acceptance and empowerment, helping others subdue their anger are all dealt with.
Thich Nhat Hanh’s Anger: Buddhist Wisdom for Cooling the Flames is about the power of mindfulness. Again the Shantideva text is not referred to at all. Every mental formation – anger, jealousy, despair – is sensitive to mindfulness the way all vegetation is sensitive to sunshine, Thich Nhat Hanh says. If we think about it patience and mindfulness have a lot in common – slowing down, observing the chaotic nature of our thoughts, seeing the world through the eyes of others and getting a handle on the situation.
So help is at hand. Of course just reading a book will not instantly imbue us with patience and tolerance, but may put us on the right track!
If we can help you with any of these titles or in any other way please drop in. We would love to see you. Do drop in. We look forward to seeing you. Hilary, Librarian

P a g e 4 Project Updates S p r i n g 2 0 1 3
BIG LOVE - we reached the allocated goal!!! In the spring of 2012 the Chenrezig Institute Group of Elders started to raise funds for the publishing of the long-awaited biography of the centre’s founder and precious teacher, Lama Thubten Yeshe. Not to be small minded (Lama always said ‘think big!’), we set $33,000 as our goal and simply asked people from Australia and New Zealand to give.
On Wheel Turning Day (12th July) we sent a third payment to the Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive and reached our goal! Thanks to all the incredibly generous people who contributed.
Of course we shall keep the web page up and the account open so that people can continue to offer until the book is complete and on our shelves.
Nick Ribush (LYWA) says that author Adele Hulse is doing a final read-through of the edited chapters and the Archive staff are deep into photo selection, having just received an unexpected bounty of over and additional 4,000 photos. If anyone reading this still has photos they think the Archive might not have, they’d love to hear from you!
Other fundraising groups around the world are working hard too. Germany have reached their goal, Singapore, and France are going really well. Together we are making this wonderful project a reality!

In the Art Studio Since its “near completion” the Art Studio has become a busy venue over the past months. Several people are working in the upstairs studio under the guidance of Ray Furminger, the resident artist, who teaches traditional Tibetan art on a daily basis and in weekend-workshop environments. Ray’s courses have been well attended and one of the pleasing results is the number of beginner-artists who start out with a feeling that they may not be skilled enough to learn this type of art; however, after a little perseverance with their “homework”, they come back filled with enthusiasm.
The Enlightenment Project for Purification and Merit is slowly finding its feet in the Art Studio. The work space has been established and with the help of several enthusiastic volunteers, working long hours, we managed to put together a very large amount of stock to take down to Sydney for a stall at the Dalai Lama’s teachings in June. Organizing the stall, accreditation, transport, and the like was a big exercise, given that the people managing this project now had not done anything like this before.
The outcome was that we received enough donations to make the whole event worthwhile and, given our lack of experience and rather poorly located stall space, there is a good chance we can do a lot better at future events. Most importantly it was a great learning curve and many thanks go out to all of those who so willingly offered there time and vehicles.
The other good news with the Art studio is we have been offered a generous allocation of funds from the Institute to address landscaping and car parking issues at the venue. This will not only beautify the entrance area but also help encourage visitors to stop and have a look at things and eventually browse through the proposed showcase area where many of the items we make in the workshop will be on display. We still have a lot of work to do finishing some of the power, purchasing a water tank ,shelving etc. but things are going very well.
We have quite a large number of stupas to be made by the end of this year along with stock that needs to be replaced. Several people are helping with these things for a day or two a week and we could still use a bit more skilled help to push this work along. Especially needed are helpers for the replacement of damaged decorations on the stupas at the Garden of Enlightenment as well as a variety of other work on site. Should the weather have brightened-up a bit by the time you read this article then work should be well under way so if you have a little spare time we would love to see you there.
Once again big thanks go out to those few dedicated people who keep the Garden of Enlightenment in such great shape. - Garrey Foulkes

Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) is a mindfulness-based approach in psychology that
enables us to get our lives moving in rich, full and meaningful ways. A key component of ACT is
‘mindfulness’: a transformative mental state of awareness, openness and focus. In a state of
mindfulness, you can let difficult thoughts and feelings freely flow through you, without getting
caught up in them or pushed around by them, and without getting into a struggle with them.
Mindfulness also enables you to engage fully in what you are doing, to maximise your pleasure and
fulfilment, or enable peak performance.

For centuries, Buddhists have used a collection of mind training practices (‘lo-
jong’) to help develop patience, kindness and wisdom in everyday life.
These practices teach us to watch how we react to situations, and to change how
we think about them, so that we can respond in more intelligent, compassionate
ways. In this series of Wednesday evening teachings, Ven. Tendron provides a
set of practical instructions for working with our minds to challenge our
negative thought patterns and destructive habits. We will learn to cultivate
the skills to keep an open-hearted, relaxed, positive attitude, regardless of the
circumstances we face.
Wednesday evenings 6:30pm – 7:30pm, 4th—25th September. No need to book. All welcome.
Tendron ordained in 2002 and is a graduate of the 5-year Buddhist Studies Programme She was the main western teacher at the FPMT centre in North Carolina before returning to CI for the Masters Programme.

Cutting Through Illusion A SPONSORED course with Geshe Lobsang Jamyang and Tenzin Tsepal
Things are not what they appear to be, nor are they otherwise
-Surangama Sutra
According to Buddhist philosophy, we do not really see the
world as it actually exists, but instead base our entire lives
on a limited, or conventional idea of reality. This causes us to
think and act in ways that lead to unhappiness and suffering.
However, the Buddha taught that if we can learn to see
things as they ultimately exist - as interdependent and
relative - then we can begin to free ourselves from our
habitual ways of interacting with the world.
In this sponsored weekend course, we explore these two aspects of reality, and discover how
developing a profound understanding of them can lead to freedom from mental and emotional
disturbances.
Saturday 7th September 9am - Sunday 8th 3pm. No Facility Fee! Accommodation and meals
available separately. Bookings essential!
Chenrezig Institute is delighted to sponsor the facility fee for this weekend course. We are able to do so by allocating 5% of our shop income to sponsorship, so shopping at CI has many benefits!!
Geshe-la was born in Tibet in 1966 and took ordination at the age of 16. Following 22 years of study, he attained the highest degree in Buddhist philosophy, Geshe Lharampa. Geshe Jamyang was the main teacher at Drolma-Ling nunnery in India, before coming to Chenrezig Institute.

Often we turn to family and friends for help and protection when things go
wrong. But since our own minds are the source of most of our troubles -
relying on family and friends may provide comfort but can’t help us to
ultimately solve the problem.
For this reason, Buddhists rely on a teacher who has achieved a complete
understanding of his mind; on teachings on the nature of reality; and on those
who show us the way. These are the Three Jewels; the Buddha, the Dharma,
and the Sangha.
Join us for this weekend course to find out more about what it means to take
refuge, the essential practices of refuge, and the role of refuge in enhancing
our spiritual growth.

Mindful Parenting with Carla Pearse (Lozang Tsultrim) at the Landmark Resort, Mooloolaba
Do you sometimes get stressed, angry and upset when
dealing with your children? Or worse - have you become the
nagging, ineffective parent you never wanted to be..?
Parenting poses so many challenges, especially in our hectic,
confusing modern world. Without effective tools to deal with
these pressures, we easily succumb to destructive emotions
that lead to disharmony and unhappiness.
But it is possible to handle the challenges of a busy life with
clarity, effectiveness, and a relaxed, positive attitude.
Managing the mind is the solution. Scientific studies show
that mindfulness boosts individual health, personal
happiness and family harmony. This workshop will teach you the practicalities and techniques of
mindfulness training, and will show how to use mindfulness to relate to your children in the most
effective, compassionate and intelligent ways.
Saturday 14th September 9am - Sunday 15th 4:30pm at the Landmark Resort, Mooloolaba.
Course fee $150. (includes tea/coffee and complimentary parking). Bookings essential!
Essence of Buddhism: The Nature of Mind with Lozang Drolma
In Maroochydore: TUESDAYS 10th September — 1st October
The Essence of Buddhism provides an overview of Buddhist thought and
philosophy. Focusing on practical application, the series covers topics like the
nature of mind, meditation, and how to deal with disturbing emotions.
Mind is the basis of our experience – the creator of our happiness and the creator
of our problems. Realizing that we’re truly in control is revolutionary. But how do
we change our minds for the better? How do we cultivate new thinking habits?
How do we stop listening to negative self-talk? In this course, Ven. Drolma helps
us to understand how our minds work and how to shift them into a happier, more
care-free mode. Join in at any time - all welcome!

Thangkas are traditional paintings of mandalas, buddhas, or bodhisattvas.
They are not just pieces of art – they are tools that act as a support for
visualisations and meditation practices. One of first steps in painting a
thangka is the preparation of the canvas. This is a complex process involving
binding of cloth to supports and careful application of clay and precious
substances.
In this one day course, resident artist Ray Furminger teaches students how
to prepare a thangka canvas. The course covers all the practical components
of the process and gives students the opportunity to prepare their own
canvas. This is a rare opportunity for students to learn this traditional
technique, and is suitable for anyone with an interest in Tibetan art. It's also
a great way to prepare for Andy Weber's Art Retreat starting in the evening.
Friday 20th September 9am - 4:30pm. No charge. Accommodation & meals available separately.
Places limited. Bookings essential!
Ray studied Buddhist art for many years under master artist Andy Weber. He now lives and works at Chenrezig Institute,
where he is the resident artist.
Images of Compassion: An Art Retreat on Four-Arm Chenrezig with Andy Weber
Chenrezig, the bodhisattva of compassion, is one of the most beloved
figures in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He represents the embodiment of
the compassion of all the buddhas in their tireless work for the benefit of all
beings.
In this retreat, master-artist Andy Weber teaches us how to draw and paint
the figure of four-arm Chenrezig. The course also explores the deep
symbolism and vast iconography of Tibetan
Buddhism that are found in the traditional
depictions of Chenrezig.
Students will receive hands-on instructions,
complete their own small painting of Chenrezig,
and learn about the craft aspects of thangka
painting (colours, canvas, and brushes). A
materials list is available here. Anyone interested in art or Tibetan Buddhist
practice will benefit enormously from the retreat.
Friday 20th September 7pm – Sunday 29th September 4:30pm. Facility
Fee $300. 10% discount for FPMT members and concession card holders.
Students also receive a 10% discount on meals and accommodation if they

About the movie:
Blessings: The Tsoknyi Nangchen Nuns of Tibet tells the story of 3000 nuns
living in the remote nomadic region of Nangchen in Eastern Tibet who practice
an ancient yogic tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. Despite near extinction during
the destruction of the Cultural Revolution, these remarkable spiritual
practitioners have emerged to rebuild their monasteries by hand - stone by
stone. Now, their tradition of wisdom and compassion is once again vital and
growing. In 2005, Tsoknyi Rinpoche III led a small group of western students
to meet the Nangchen nuns. Blessings is the story of this extraordinary
journey. A unique meeting of East and West, the film is an inspiration to
anyone seeking a spiritual path through the challenges of 21st century life.

Institute from 1990, and is responsible for implementing an extensive

level study of the classic topics of Tibetan Buddhism.
Khen Rinpoche has thousands of students around Australia, New Zealand,

personal qualities and great knowledge and wisdom. His experience with
Western students and living in the West has given him great insight into
Western thinking and circumstances.

The Buddha taught that the mind is the creator of all our
unhappiness and suffering, but it is also the source of all happiness,
joy and freedom. By understanding how our minds work, we can
become skilled at releasing ourselves from the instinctual habits that
keep us from lasting peace. We can achieve this using meditation—a
tool for integrating our understanding of the teachings and
becoming familiar with positive mental states.
In this weekend retreat, T.Y. leads us through focused analytical
meditations on the inner workings of the mind, following the outlines
contained in The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lam-rim). It is an excellent opportunity to
spend some quiet time strengthening your practice, and learning to apply the Buddha‘s teachings to
enhance the quality of your daily life. Anyone is welcome to attend, but some previous knowledge of
the lam-rim would be beneficial.

Making Every Moment Count A SPONSORED course with Geshe Lobsang Jamyang and Tenzin Tsepal
The spiritual path can seem difficult and frustrating much of the time. The
Buddha knew this, and he taught that there are five qualities that, when
developed together, become the five powers or strengths. These five act as
direct antidotes to the doubts and problems that prevent us from making every
day of our lives meaningful.
In this sponsored weekend course, Geshe Jamyang shows how developing the
five strengths - confidence, energy, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom -
can make each day a rewarding and positive experience. We will also explore
how cultivating these qualities throughout our lives can prepare us to face even
the most difficult circumstances with a calm and relaxed mind.

BUDDHA DAY: Descent from Tushita - Sunday 24th November
Buddha Shakyamuni is said to have travelled at the age of
forty-one to Tushita heaven, where he spent one rainy season
giving teachings to benefit the beings of the desire realms,
and to repay the kindness of his mother by helping her

Tibetan month is celebrated as the day of Buddha
Shakyamuni’s return from Tushita. It is taught that as the
Buddha was descending, the entire universe became clear
and unobstructed to all beings. This profound teaching is
considered to be one of the eight great deeds of the Buddha.
It is part of Buddhist tradition to engage in virtuous activities

P a g e 1 9 S p r i n g 2 0 1 3 Advanced Programme News
Our parent organisation FPMT has worked tirelessly over many years to establish reliable and respected education programmes for our students and prospective teachers, inspired first by our founder Lama Thubten Yeshe, and then by our precious spiritual friend, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche and always advised and guided by the infinite wisdom of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
At Chenrezig Institute we offer teachings of all levels hoping to fulfil the needs of our many different kinds of visitors and regular students.
The advanced programme, the Buddhist Studies Programme, has developed from irregular one off courses in the 80’s, through regular evening classes in the early 90’s, to an intensive programme for Sangha members and other serious students. In 1997 with the coming together of a fantastic and energetic teacher in Geshe Tashi Tsering, with a talented and dedicated translator (Voula Zarpani) and a wonderful tutor educated at Sera Monastery (Jampa Ignyen), the official Buddhist Studies Programme was born. Over the next 15 years we completed three rounds of the 14 subjects of the FPMT’s Basic Programme. A core group of students graduated well and literally hundreds of others attended one or more of the individual modules. We even started to provide full home-study packages for these subjects and hundreds more have been able to study at home.
Geshe Lobsang Jamyang joined the programme in 2005, first as tutor and then, when Geshe Tashi Tsering was called to higher duties in 2009, as ther main teacher. Under his excellent guidance we have completed the third round of the Basic Programme teachings and continued on to the first subject of the even more advanced teachings of FPMT’s Masters Programme.
Since June 2012 we have been engaged in a very extensive study of the Middle Way, the Madhyamaka teachings based on Chandrakirti’s Supplement to the Middle Way and referring mainly to Lama Tsongkhapa’s commentary to that text Illumination of the Thought. These are not teachings for beginners - they are difficult, it has to be admitted - but they are so so important and beneficial. There was some trepidation in many hearts at the beginning and it is wonderful to see so many glowing faces and to hear the enthusiasm with which the topics are debated, so much of this due to the skill and enthusiasm of our teacher himself.
Two more modules are scheduled for 2013 (dates below) and with the month long retreat which completes the course, we expect that most, if not all, of 2014 will be filled, maybe even spilling into the early days of 2015. But what better way can there be to spend the time?
Although new students will likely struggle a little with this advanced material, those with a reasonable experience of Buddhist study are welcome to join us for a module, a week or two, or even a day or two while you are visiting the centre. Discuss your experience and the timing of your visit with the Programme Coordinator ([email protected]).
Since not long after the beginning of the Buddhist Studies Programme our coordinator has been Kathy Vichta, ex-director and one of the original people of the centre (around since 1974). She is now passing the reins to Ven Tendron, another of our Basic Programme graduates and long time student of both Geshe Tashi Tsering and Geshe Jamyang. (Kathy will of course remained involved as part of the committee and as an advisor and even worker wherever necessary.)
Two more Masters Programme Madhyamaka modules in 2013:
Unit 6 - 19th August - 4th October (7 weeks) Facility fee $420 (10% discount for FPMT members and concession card holders) Sangha – no charge.
Unit 7 - 21st October - 26th November (5 weeks) Facility fee $300 (10% discount for FPMT members and concession card holders) Sangha – no charge.
Facility fees for the Madhyamaka modules are worked out at $60 per week. The usual discounts apply and students may also use Dharma Dollars (work for courses credits) to cover up to 50% of these fees.
The centre offers the teachings free of charge to all sangha and also offers discounted accommodation and food prices to all full-time students. Please contact reception at the centre ([email protected]) for information about this.
All materials (audio files of teachings and tutorials), transcripts, review questions and tests (with answers) are all collated carefully and offered as homestudy materials for those interested in studying this subject but unable to attend at the centre. Contact the course coordinator ([email protected]) with queries about these materials and about the course itself and whether it is suitable for you.
