Senior Parent Graduation Meeting Just a reminder that we will have our Senior Parent Graduation Informationmeeting on Thursday April 13th at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium. You willreceive information on the graduation ceremony, everything that your seniorwill be doing before graduation and what your student will need to havecompleted in Student Services before Graduation. RHS AP/EOC EXAM PROCTORS 2017Parents, we are looking for volunteers to proctor upcoming End of CourseTests and AP Exams on April 24, May 1-5, and May 9-12. If you areinterested you will need to attend a brief (15 minute) proctor training on April19th for test administration. PLEASE NOTE: Parents cannot volunteer duringa test their child is taking.
The proctor has to stay in the classroom the entire time. There will be atleast one teacher in each testing room that will serve as the test examiner.AP exams are a 4 hour commitment with morning exams starting at 7:45amand afternoon exams starting at 11:45am. The US History EOC is 4/24 andruns 7:45-11:30 or 11:45-3:15.

Orchestra and Chorus Perform at Festival Disney
The Roswell High School Orchestra participated inFestival Disney this past week. The 82 piece orchestra received ExcellentRatings from the judges and had a wonderful clinic on stage after ourperformance. The orchestra members also had the chance to participate inthe 2 1/2 hour "You're Instrumental" Performing Arts Workshop. Studentslearned what it takes to be a professional musician, rehearsed andperformed original Disney scores, and performed part of the Little Mermaidand became the soundtrack to the movie clip!

Roswell High School Chorus traveled to Orlando this pastweek to participate in Festival Disney. Three groups performed - RHSChorale, Chamber Chorus and Women's Ensemble. All three groupsreceived a Superior Rating, which was the highest rating given at theFestival. few pegs, the Accident Avoidance Workshops' goal is to save lives bypositively impacting new drivers' development of their decision makingabilities and physical skills necessary to maximize on their own vehicle'scapabilities without losing control of their vehicle, or themselves.
The Workshops will be at Roswell High School on June 10 & 11 with aclassroom session the evening of June 7. Our last workshop in Februarysold out in a few weeks, so register now. This program is open to any student with a driving permit and is also goodfor those who already have their licenses ... get this training in before theyleave for college, where they will not have you there for guidance every day.At least one parent must attend, but both are welcome. You may qualify foran insurance discount for you and your student, so be sure to check withyour agent.
You can also raise money for your favorite booster club ... Just type in thename of your booster club in the referral box when you register and they willget $10. You can do this even if you sign up for a workshop at anotherlocation. If you are a booster club member, please spread the word.

Important MOWR information for anyone planning to take PhysicalEducation courses through the Move On When Ready program. Beginningin Fall 2017, only MOWR students enrolled full-time at the college/universitywill be eligible to take a PE Course and have it funded through MOWR. Forstudents enrolled part-time (classes at Roswell and classes at the college),PE courses must be taken through Roswell or the family will receive a billfor tuition if taken at the college campus. This new rule only applies toCollege PE, not College Health. Please see your counselor if you havefurther questions.
