Inside this issue:
Spring is in the air! Finally, the world celebrated its last pagan holiday for the winter season.
Valentines Day is over and done with, and Yahweh’s people are looking for-
ward to the spring Holy Day season. Yes, the world will be celebrating Easter,
but Yahweh’s people know that the
world, as a whole, has wrongly sub-
stituted Easter for Passover. In the
King James version of the Bible, the
word “Easter” does appear, but we
know it was translated incorrectly.
The original word was pascha,
which literally means Passover!
Passover and the Feast of
Unleavened Bread is very impor-
tant to Yahweh’s people. The
spring season is also the start of
Yahweh’s New Year, not the dead
of winter in January. We keep
Passover as a reminder that Yahshua died for us. Because of His sacrifice, we
can have a relationship with Yahweh and are reconciled to Him. Our sins
have separated us from Yahweh, but we are washed clean by Yahshua’s
blood.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is also a meaningful time for Yahweh’s
people. During this time, we are not allowed to eat anything containing leav-
ening agents such as yeast or baking powder. We thoroughly clean our
houses and remove items such as cookies, cake mixes, muffins, buns, rolls,
and soft puffy bread! Many new people worry that there won’t be anything
to eat, but have no fear. You can still eat fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta,
beans and legumes, eggs, clean meats, clean fish, poultry (providing they are
un-breaded, of course), nuts and seeds, and dairy products. We hope to see
you at services!
