Certified Pool Operator
The Certified Pool Operator certification course is designed to provide the basic knowledge,
techniques, and skills required to safely operate a pool or spa. The course will follow the
NSPF Pool & Spa Operator Handbook (provided) along with local regulatory codes and is taught by an
NSPF certified instrufctor. Essential calculations, how to carry out and interpret water tests for safe
operation of aquatic facilities, state and federal regulations, and other important topics will be covered.
Pass the open book exam and earn your CPO certification.

Essentials of Excel
Microsoft Excel is a program used to present data in a spreadsheet or a table of rows and
columns. Data can then be sorted, organized, and manipulated mathematically using
various operations and formulas. This introductory course will teach you basic data editing,
performing calculations with formulas, managing workbooks, creating charts, and many other
marketable skills using the automated tools found within Excel.

Prepare for your Certified Microsoft Office Specialist Exam! Our expert instructor will guide

Massage Therapy Program
The Massage Therapy program will provide students with the knowledge and skills of massage, incorporating
anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and other topics. Completion of the program, which includes eight classes, will
provide the required information and skills to sit for the state exam required by the Texas Department of
Licensing and Regulation. The program will be taught through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and
clinical experiences. Textbooks(s) are required and not included in the course cost.
The program currently contains the following courses:

Business Practices and Professional Ethics
Hydrotherapy and Therapeutic Modalities
Health and Hygiene
Internship
Any student who is planning to become a Massage Therapist in the State of Texas must successfully complete all
of the listed courses that are required by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in order to sit for the
licensure exam (MBLEx). Not all courses will be offered each semester.
Requirements for enrolling in the Massage Therapy program courses:
Must be 18 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or HSE/GED®
Must pass a criminal background check
Must attend a Massage Therapy Information Session (within the last 12 months)
Must prepare to complete immunization and CPR requirements before beginning Fundamentals II
Before beginning Fundamentals II of the Massage Therapy program, the following items must be completed and
submitted to the CE Healthcare Coordinator for review.
Completed Immunization Requirement Form (copies of immunization documentation must be submitted)
Copy of CPR Card (not to expire before end date of your internship course)
o American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
o CPR certification obtained from online CPR training vendors without an in-person “hands-only”
training portion will not be accepted

FREE Massage Therapy Information Session
Students interested in becoming a Massage Therapist in the State of Texas are required
to attend an Information Session before enrolling. This free Information Session
reviews different aspects of the training program, including cost, description of each
course, and requirements of attendance as well as requirements of the state guidelines to be licensed
and maintain licensure as a massage therapist in Texas. Information Sessions are held monthly.

Massage Therapy: Anatomy & Physiology
This course provides an important in-depth coverage of the structure and function of the
human body, including cell structure and function, tissues, body organization, and the
integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Students will be able
to explain the relationship of the structure of the body to the practice of massage therapy and the
effects of massage therapy on the physiological functions of the body. The course meets the minimum
