also send your camp registration form (see Appendix) by e-mail to the Camp
Program Director Patrick Thomas at sembachboyscouttroop [email protected] so
that he has info of those attending.
1 .5 Merit Badge Choices Top five merit badge choices and any questions should be sent to sembachboyscouttroop [email protected] . Scouts will be placed in merit badge choices on a first come first served basis. Be advised some merit badges are offered as AM or PM Sessions and others are daylong {Saturday). Session sizes will be limited to 10 scouts. Merit Badge choices should be made online during registration. Prerequisites are included in this leaders Guide. Units are required to ensure scouts complete the prerequisites. The camp will be providing an excel spreadsheet of completed requirements and merit badges.
1.6 Adults & Older Scouts Both adults and youth are needed to help run the program including Camp Arrivals and Departures Support, Camp Medic, Campfire Program Director {Youth OA Volunteers), Activity Stations, etc. We welcome Scouts aged 15 or over and at least, Eagle rank to help with Activity Stations. Junior Assistant Scout Masters(JASM) and Troop Guides are invited to volunteer to serve as the Camp Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) and Camp Staff to ensure the Scouts are informed by Patrol Method, Scouts Leading the Way.
1.7 Campsite Assignments Campsites will be allocated based on the numbers given in the registration email. When arriving at camp please send the Troop SPL with his Patrol Leader(s) to the Scout Hut to complete the check-in procedures and to be shown the location of your campsite. If your unit is arriving in several groups, please ensure that everyone knows the unit number (for example, "Troop 164") as well as the name of the adult leader in charge, so they can be directed to the Unit's campsite.

3. 1 Chili cook off
Troop will have the option of entering the Chili Cook Off contest. Unit will provide their own ingredients for this event. Chili must be prepared by the Scouts at the event. Chili prepared prior to arrival will be disqualified. Chili cooked by adult or with adult assistance will be disqualified. Full rules will be provided at check-in.

We need adults to teach merit badges. If you have a skill that would qualify you toteach a merit badge, we need your help. Just send an email tosembachboyscouttroop [email protected] and he will assist you with getting set up. Donot worry if you are not a counselor, we will take care of that for you.
