The Bazaar Committee has been hard at work since April.

We are striving to have a better and fun Bazaar this year.

On August 17, we will start raffle ticket distribution. We

ask that each family pick up at least two books. A book of

10 tickets costs $50.00.

Our Journey to God

Lifelong Faith Formation

Faith Formation Classes:

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM (English)

11:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Spanish/bilingual)

Grades 1-2: First Communion Preparation

Grades 3-8: Ongoing faith formation classes

Grades 9-10: Confirmation (two year formation)

Registration for First Communion, Confirmation

& Ongoing Faith Formation Classes

Registration will be held Sunday, August 18 after ALL

the Masses in the Parish Center. The registration fee is

$40 per family plus the corresponding book fee.

First Communion registration: To register the child

must be already Baptized, at least 7 years old, and in the

2nd grade. A copy of the Baptism Certificate is

required. Parents will also have to attend class.

Confirmation registration: The student must be in

high school. The parent and the student must be

present at registration.. A copy of the Baptism

Certificate is required to register. Second year

Confirmation students must re-register also with their

parents.

STEWARDSH IP WEEKEND

will be August 24th and 25th after all

Masses, so please come by the Parish

Center and visit the ministry tables.

There is a good chance a ministry is

just waiting for you to join.

Remember, there is no parish life without you!

Volunteer opportunities at St. Albert Do you have a few hours to spare once a week? Consider a volunteer position helping in the parish office. Volunteers must be over 18 years old; bilingual would be a plus, but not required. The work time would be during office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. En el Evangelio de hoy, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos:

“¡He venido a encender fuego en la tierra, y cómo desearía

que ya estuviera ardiendo! ¡Hay un bautismo con el que

debo ser bautizado, y cuán grande es mi angustia hasta que

se cumpla!”

Su donación a la Sociedad es para ayudar a los que

sufren en la pobreza y así ayudará a encender la

tierra con el amor de Dios.

El mes pasado a través de sus donativos, la Sociedad

de San Vicente de Paul pudo ayudar a 229 personas,

haciendo 61 visitas a domicilio, registrando 265 horas de

servicio, proporcionando $2,340 en alimentos de despensa,

$1,974 para servicios, $3,878 para asistencia de renta. La

Sociedad también proporcionó $127 por entrega de muebles

y $210 en tarjetas de regalo para productos perecederos. La

mayoría de los pagos de servicios públicos evitaron una

desconexión.

KERMÉSSE 2019

El Comité del Kermésse ha estado trabajando desde abril.

Nos esforzamos por tener un Kermésse mejor y divertido

este año. El 17 de agosto, comenzaremos la distribución

del boleto de rifa. Pedimos que cada familia recoja al

menos dos libros. Un libro de 10 boletos cuesta $ 50.

Clases de Formación de la Fe:

Horario: 9:00 AM a 10:30 AM (ingles)

Inscripciones para Primera Comunión, Confirmación

y clases de Formación de la Fe

Las inscripciones se llevarán a cabo el domingo, 18 de

agosto después de todas las Misas, en el centro

parroquial. Se requiere copia del certificado de Bautizo y

la cuota de $40, más el precio de los libros.

Primera Comunión: Los niños debe estar bautizados,

tener al menos 7 años y estar en el 2 ° grado. Es

necesario presentar una copia del certificado de

bautismo. Los padres también tendrán que asistir a

clase.

Confirmación: Los estudiantes deben estar en la

escuela secundaria (high school). Es necesario

presentar una copia del certificado de bautismo. Los

padres deben estar presentes con su hijo/a para

inscribirlos. Igualmente, los estudiantes de segundo año

Oportunidades de voluntariado

en San Alberto

¿Tiene algunas horas libres un día por semana? Considere un puesto de voluntario ayudando en la oficina parroquial. Los voluntarios deben ser mayores de 18 años y bilingüe. El horario de trabajo sería durante el horario de la oficina: lunes a viernes, de 8:30 AM a 4:30 PM Si está interesada, llame a la oficina al 713-771-3596.

El fin de semana de Mayordomía

será el 24 y 25 de Agosto después de

todas las Misas. Los invitamos al

Centro Parroquial a visitar todos los

ministerios y grupos. Sin duda, uno
