WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING – will be held on Monday, June 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the Cedar’s Hall. All members are urged to attend. THE ST. ANTHONY LEBANESE FESTIVAL will be held on Saturday, June 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on the Church grounds and pavilion. Highlights of the day include Arabic and American food, desserts and beverages, entertainment featuring Mitchell Kaltsunas and his ensemble, hooka station, heritage display and handouts, children’s games and activities. THE LEBANESE FESTIVAL "final wrap up" meeting will be held on Sunday, June 24th after the 8:30 Mass.

FEAST OF ST. ANTHONY will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 13th with Masses at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 noon with Msgr. Christopher Connelly Vicar General of the Diocese of Springfield as the celebrant and a Healing Mass with holy oil and the Relic of St. Anthony at 6:30 p.m. There will be a procession at 6:00 p.m. weather permitting. NAM CONVENTION - The community of Our Lady of the Cedars Church in Houston, Texas will be hosting the National Apostalate of Maronites (NAM) 55th Annual Convention from Wednesday, July 11th through Sunday, July 15th. Along with daily Divine Liturgies there will be something for everyone, children, youth, young adults, young professionals, seniors, families, clergy and religious. Hospitality, culture, entertainment and goodness will overflow at this year’s convention site, the brand new Marriot Marquis Hotel in downtown Houston. For further information please visit www.namnews.org. ‘JOB DESCRIPTION’ – NAM is looking for a new Executive Director – in accordance with the NAM By-Laws, the Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors in consultation with the Bishops. Qualifications include: knowledge of Maronite history and heritage, understand and believe in NAM’s mission, computer skills in Microsoft programs and web design, participate in and understand Maronite traditions and interact with the Maronite Bishops, clergy and laity, perform efficiently and on-time all aspects of office operations, knowledge of convention planning and hotel negotiations, ability to travel and present well to the general public as the face of the Maronite Church, abide by all Catholic teachings and morality and practice their faith with sincerity, ability to prepare, understand and present financial reports, bookkeeping ability, bachelors degree preferred but not required and bilingual, English and Arabic preferred but not required.
