Want to be Confirmed? Want to Make First Communion?

Maybe you are not Catholic, but have been feeling like you want to find out more about becoming Catholic and a full member of the Church community? Classes to prepare you to receive these Sacraments begin October 1 at 7:30 p.m., in the Doolan Center at the school. The entrance to the Doolan Center is on the Civic Terrace side of the Church property; park at the far end of the parking lot, near Civic Terrace and look for the gate in the cyclone fencing. You do not need to register in advance, but if you have questions, please call the rectory office Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Friends & Fellowship On October 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the Legion of Mary will host the free hot meal in the parish hall for those in need in our area. Thank you to them and to all our parish groups who help us in this good cause, including the committee members.

Refugee Crisis You Can Help

As Catholics, Pope Francis has called special attention to the refugee crisis in Europe. Did you know that through your Catholic Charities of the East Bay, you have helped resettle refugees to the United States since 1975? Together, we have welcomed over 1,300 people fleeing persecution and violence since 2001.This month alone we will welcome 27 refugees from Afghanistan, Iran, Myanmar and Nepal. Your parish can help. Feast of St. Edward Pancake Breakfast

The Men's Club would like to invite all families to a Pancake Breakfast to celebrate the Feast of St. Edward on Sunday October 11 in the parish hall. $6 for those over 12, $4 for children over 3, free for 3 years and under.
