A Brief Note from the Office of Youth Ministry
Lent is around the corner with Ash Wednesday on February 26th. For many of us, it is a time for us to begin thinking of what to give up. But what if we took a different approach to Lent. What many of us may not remember, is that God wants us to be happy in life. He wanted it so much, that he sent his ONLY SON to die for us to clear us of the sins that keep us from experiencing a relationship with Him-It is because the source of TRUE HAPPINESS is GOD HIMSELF. So why not add some GOOD HABITS into our lives to make things BETTER!! In that light, starting February 20th, at 7 p.m.
and each week through LENT WE WILL HAVE A BIBLE GROUP CONVERSATION in
the Youth Building for High School: 9th-12th.
