Hi Friends, We’re in the thick of the “Christmas Season” now, but it’s still not quite Christmas! Take a moment and consider what you can do in these next few days to prepare for Jesus’ coming. Here are some things I’ve been reflecting on: Jesus comes to us in both mystery and majesty. Mystery, in that He’s hidden from the world, unknown to so many as He’s born in Bethlehem. It’s the same today: so many people don’t know Jesus; they just know the rules and routine of religion. And they go about life frustrated and confused, knowing there is the “perfect gift” out there somewhere, but not knowing it’s Him! Jesus also comes in majesty: He is our King! He reigns supreme and has dominion! He guards, protects, governs, counsels, provides—like any good king has done. But He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, remember? His might and power, while mysterious, triumphs over every force, every foe. All—including evil—bow down before Him. We get to celebrate the wonders of His love, might, and glory so very soon! I toss out these words, mystery and majesty, as possible things to reflect on—and receive—in these coming days. *A special welcome to our visitors. We’re so blessed to have you with us!* God Bless, Fr. Fallon
