OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Your packed shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child are due back this weekend, Sunday November 12. They can be dropped off at the North entrance of the church.
BLANKETS NEEDED We are looking for new or gently used blankets (queen, double or single sizes) to provide our refugee families. If you can assist, please call Brenda at 705-542-9088.

A GATHERING OF FRIENDS This is an opportunity for our refugee families and their volunteers to visit informally with one another. It is also an opportunity for parishioners to meet them. Many parishioners donated furniture, house-hold items, money, and some volunteer with the families. These refugee families are very grateful for all our help and would be happy to meet you. Sunday, November 19, 2-4 pm in the Hall. Sweets, Syrian and Cana-dian will be served with coffee, tea and juice. Call Brenda 705-542-9088
2018 SUNDAY MISSALS The 2018 Sunday Missals are now available. These Missals include the Sunday Reading beginning the First Sunday of Advent (December 3, 2017) until the next Feast of Christ the King (November 25, 2018). They are $5 and available in the Lector’s Room or the church office during regular business hours.

BUS TO BRUCE MINES HOLY WALK There are still a few seats available on the charter coach bus to the Bruce Mines Holy Walk this Friday, November 17. Reserve yours for only $20 by calling the parish office asap. For those who have purchased a seat, we will depart St. Jerome’s parking lot promptly at 5:30 pm. Reminder to dress warmly, refreshments will be served after the Walk, and a free will offering is accepted as entry fee to the Walk.

TWOONIES FOR TUMMIES Thank you for reaching into your pockets last weekend. We raised $587.43 ! This will go a long way helping with the needs of the SSM Soup Kitchen Community Centre.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL Located at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, the chapel is open from 6 am to midnight. Anyone can drop in for visit during that time, however we do require weekly Adorers committed for: Monday 9-10am, 3-4 & 10-11pm; Tuesday 12-1 pm; Wednesday 8-9 am; Thursday 8-9 & 9-10 am; Friday 9-10 am, 1-2 & 9-10 pm; Saturday 9-10 & 10-11pm; Sunday 5-6 & 6-7 & 7-8 pm.
