Religious Freedom Week (the successor to the Fortnight for Freedom which was held
from 2012 - 2017) will be celebrated in dioceses nationwide from June 22 to June 29.
Throughout the week we will focus on the importance of preserving the essential right of
religious freedom, both now and in the future, for Catholics and all people of faith.
This year’s theme is “Serving Others in God’s Love” reminding us that religious lib-
erty allows people of faith to serve God and others freely in ministries like healthcare,
adoption and foster care, education, and migration and refugee services to name a few.
The significant feast days during the week (Saints Thomas More and John Fisher – June 22, Saint John the Baptist – June
24, and Saints Peter and Paul – June 29) inspire us to follow the example of these great saints who loved God above all and
remained faithful in the face of adversity.
Please visit www.usccb.org/ReligiousFreedomWeek to download the “Pray-Reflect-Act” one-pagers for each day on
various religious liberty topics. These excellent resources are intended to inspire us to learn more about religious liberty
from a Catholic perspective, help us to pray about particular issues, and provide us with tools to act on what we learn. Addi-
tional information can be found at www.worcesterdiocese.org/religiousfreedomweek.
It is with great joy, we join in prayer and invite
the entire community to participate in the
ordination of Father Javier Julio at St. Paul ’s
Cathedral in Worcester and his first Mass of
Thanksgiving in our parish.

seriously ill or dying. Prayer requests can be submitted by

After a prayer request is submitted, it is sent immediately
to members of our group. Cenacle members pray the Chap-

Love Made Visible by † James Conley Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament prepares families for mission. Parents have a responsibility to form their children to be merciful, charitable missionary disciples. All families have a sacred call to be a source of apostolic joy in the world, to witness to Christ, and to proclaim him together, with intentionality and enthusiasm. But God calls each family to a particular kind of work or apostolate, and each family must discern how they are uniquely called to bring the Gospel into the world. That discernment begins with families in prayer, in the pres-ence of the Eucharist, asking the Lord to guide them in the mission of the Gospel, and asking him to equip them for mission. Husbands and wives who kneel together in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, especially with their chil-dren, find their family love renewed by Christ’s love, so that they can pour their joy into the evangelization of the world, in the unique and important way God calls them.

10 GOOD REASONS TO BECOME A CATECHIST: You will grow in your own faith, learn the teachings of the Church, and deepen your relationship with Je-sus. Your Baptism calls you to share in Jesus' ministry. Children, teens, and adults in today's world, more than ever, need to hear the Good News of Jesus. Children, teens, and adults in today's world, more than ever, need to encounter good role models of faith. You have much to share with those you'll teach, and you'll have opportunities to share faith with other catechists. Today's catechetical textbooks/resources offer outstanding support. You'll be challenged, you'll have fun, and you'll make new friends. You'll be helping people deepen their relationship with Jesus (You'll be evangelizing!) You'll be handing on a 2,000-year-old Tradition that changes lives. It's our job: Jesus sent us to "go and teach all na-tions." Won't you answer the call? We are looking for cate-chists for Grades 1 - 10.

We will be accepting donations in any amount to help defray the cost of the retreat during the next few weeks. If you would like to donate, please bring your donation to Mass on June 30/July 1 or mail it to the rec-tory at 149 Chestnut Street, Clinton, MA. QUERIDA COMUNIDAD HISPANA
Nosotros
sin darnos cuenta veremos multiplicados en bendiciones to-
das las buenas acciones que nosotros tengamos. Dios quien
es el dueño de la cosecha sabra darnos en su benevolen-
cia y su amor todo aquello que pedimos con amor y con fe.
Mil bendiciones para todos.
P. Henry Ramirez
