Did you know???

Did you know God has called each one of us to holiness? He calls us to live that out as either a single person, mar-ried, or in some cas-es a special call to be a priest or reli-gious brother or sis-ter. One of the most important things we

can all do is seriously discern what God is call-ing us to do, because when we follow that path we will be the most fulfilled. At the present time the Archdiocese has 29 seminarians – young men from 18 years old to a man in his 40’s – who are taking the time to pray, study, and grow closer to Christ. The Vocation Office, and our website kckvocations.com, is a great resource to those trying to discover God’s will for them. Parents, friends, and relatives can all play a cru-cial role in supporting a person in their discern-ment. If you know a young person who has the qualities and character that you see in priests or religious, let them know! Tell them you will pray for them. Perhaps that is the confirmation they need, or the spark to ignite God’s call hid-den inside. God’s call is not silent, but often we aren’t listening.

Thank you The family of Tomo Maracic wants to thank St.

John members for the beautiful luncheon, prayers and support during this very difficult time.

October 25th, the Cathedral will host a concert featuring present and past organists, highlighting the peo-ple who have showcased this grand instrument for five decades. Performing will be Fr. Michael Hawken, Virgin-ia Hill, and Matt Winterhalter. Please come and enjoy a great concert in one of the city’s best acoustics! Free ad-mission.
