Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope all our mums and grandmas had a beautiful

Mother’s Day on Sunday.

Our afternoon tea on Friday was a wonderful

testament to all those out there who are the maternal

nurturers for a child or children. We read beautiful

messages, listened to great songs and heard some

wonderful poems that the children had written

about their mums. The food, made by the staff, was

delicious and the beautiful decorations and china

added so much to this event.

Teacher Assistant Day.

On our staff we have 4 beautiful “extras” who do so

much for the students and staff. Our TA’s, Jane

Davis, Kylee Huard, Emma Chisholm and Amanda

Fitzgerald do the most amazing job, looking after

all those who need looking after. Not only do they

help out in the classrooms, but they are always

ready to listen to little problems, dry up tears and

reassure that all will be ok.

These 4 lovely ladies, were treated to a special

assembly yesterday. Children had lovely things to

say, made some cards and presented them with

flowers. We often forget our TA’s but our school

certainly wouldn’t function without them.

Winter Uniform.

Please ensure that your children are wearing

their winter uniforms. Everyone should be in

their full winter uniform, including sport

uniforms.

Enjoy your week.

P&F AGM and Meeting Dear Parents, friends and families of St Joseph’s, Monday 20th May the P&F will be holding their annual AGM at the Ex-Services Club in the boardroom. All positions will be vacant and we would really love some parents, grandparents or carers to come onto the committee. We have managed to fundraise to help purchase chromebooks, bag stands and lots of furniture for the school and library and many other things for our school and our children. We can’t do this without a committee to think of and organise these fundraisers. So I invite you to think about coming to our AGM and coming onto the committee. Please forward your nominations to Nicole Holaj or the school office: [email protected] or [email protected] Positions Vacant: President Vice President Secretary Uniform Shop Co-ordinator Book Club Co-ordinator
