PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE 5A won the punctuality trophy yet again with 0 lates and 3Mwon the attendance trophy again with 98.5% attend-ance. Well done!

GAMES WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS A big thank you to all the parents/carers who were able to attend our first games workshop delivered by Paddy, a consultant from the Achievement for All programme. Parents/carers had the opportunity to find out about exciting Games and Challenges that can be undertaken at home to support their child’s learning. They left the session with a

‘goody’ bag of resources. I hope you will be able to join us for the next workshop later on in the year.

VALENTINES DISCO Friday 14th February at St Michael at Bowes be-tween 3.30 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. for lower school and 5.00 p.m.—6.30 p.m. upper school. Tickets are on sale but are limited due to health and safe-ty. Unless your child has purchased a ticket they

will not be allowed entry. If you are able to volunteer on the day any time between 2.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. please speak to the chair of FOTSA or give your name to the office. Your help and support would be greatly appreciated.

ST PAUL’S CATHEDRAL SERVICE

Last Friday, 8 pupils, 2 teach-ers and a governor attended a service at St Paul's Cathedral alongside children and staff from schools across the London Diocese. We celebrated our family of Church of England schools with almost 1,000 peo-ple attending.

MATHS WEEK During our Maths week the children took part in lots of fun and practical activities that provided them with new and exciting experiences as well as supporting them in developing key skills and mathematical thinking. The theme was ‘enterprise’, whereby children came up with brilliant business ideas with the intention of making as much profit as possible. They used a variety of

skills, including, interpreting data and budgeting. In groups they had the opportunity to pitch their idea to a panel of judges. Thank you to parents/carers who were able to come and hear the children present their busi-ness plan.
