All Saints In thankful remembrance of those whom we love, and who have loved us, and have entered into the greater presence of God in the past year:

We Bless your Holy Name, O God, for all your servants who having finished their course, now rest from their labors. Give us grace to follow the example of their steadfastness and faithfulness, to your honor and glory; through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Reading God’s Word

We grow best when we are nourished by a steady diet of God’s word. Reading the Bible daily is an important habit to develop. Scripture is best when it is well chewed over and digested, so one good way to get into the habit of reading the Bible is to take time to read the Sunday readings several times during the week.

Readings for next Sunday:

Judges 4:1-7 Psalm 123

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 Matthew 25:14-30

Falling In Love With God Nothing is more practical than finding God, that

is, than falling in love in a quite absolute, final

way. What you are in love with, what seizes

your imagination, will affect everything. It will

decide what will get you out of bed in the

morning, what you will do with your evenings,

how you will spend your weekends what you read, who you know, what breaks

your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love,

and it will decide everything.

The season of giving is just around the corner so we are making plans for our holiday bags for families in need in the Wilkinsburg community. Last year we gave out over 250 bags, for both holidays combined. We are asking for your help to fill these bags again this year.

We are hopeing that you will partner with us by donating one or more of the items be-low. For Thanksgiving we need the food no later than November 20 and Christmas no later than December 13.
