It was wonderful to meet and chat with our 2019
Kindergarten families last week at the first Kindy
Transition session. We are looking forward to having them
join the Parkes East community next year.
Congratulations to Ebony Bayliss-Cox and Elly Thornberry
on their efforts and achievement at the State Athletics
carnival last week. What a wonderful opportunity for the
girls.
'What does Remembrance Day mean to you?' With
Remembrance Day coming up this weekend, the Parkes Sub-
Branch of the RSL has given Parkes East thirteen
Remembrance Day medallions. They would like the
medallions to be given to thirteen students who are able to
share their ideas on what Remembrance Day means to
them. Students are welcome to write about the topic at
home and hand their response in to Mrs O'Neill by
Thursday 8 November.
Have a great week, Mrs O'Neill
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)
We are Safe, Respectful and Responsible at the Bus Lines

We sit responsibly in the correct bus line
We respectfully listen to the teachers on bus duty
We only eat in bus lines if we wait under the Infants Shelter
We place all rubbish in the bin
We stand up when the teacher calls our bus
We do not walk to the bus until it has stopped and opens its door
