With a Doctorate in Philology from the University ofGranada, Gracia Morales teaches Hispano-Americanliterature and theater in the Dept. of Spanish Philology inthe same university.She has published plays, poetry and stories.She has won many literary, poetic and theatrical awards.Among her plays are: NN12 (2008), Un lugar estratégico (AStrategic Place, 2003) – winner of the 7th Miguel RomeroEsteo Award--, and Como si fuera esta noche (As If It WereTonight, 2002).Her plays have been staged by various companies in Spain(Valencia, Seville and Madrid), France and Latin America(Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica and Mexico).She has participated in, and also taught, numerous coursesand workshops on playwriting, puppetry, clown and voicetechnique. She has also served as Assistant Director invarious productions, and has acted with critical and publicacclaim.
