SAP certification exclusively for students

The University of Duisburg-Essen in cooperation with SAP University Alliances offers students e-learning courses in the field of SAP software.

Since 2006 erp4students has been providing opportunities for students to acquire important skills in working with SAP products and to prepare themselves for an official SAP certification. All courses are available exclusively for students and to special student conditions.

After finishing a course module, participants can take the SAP examination and gain a globally recognized SAP consultant certificate. erp4students offers exams in the fields of S/4HANA (TERP10), BW on HANA, CRM and ABAP.

The e-learning courses cover fundamentals of the world‘s leading, modern management information system - SAP. The ERP course investigates the integration of business processes such as sales, procurement, logistics, product development and financial control. The CRM course focuses on customer identification, capture, management and analysis while BW focuses on Data Warehousing and reporting. ABAP is a non-standardized coding language for the SAP system.

Upon completing either course, you will possess in-depth theoretical knowledge of the SAP system, its technical aspects and the setup of the underlying data model, as well as approaches to compile analyses and reports. You will be able to work with different functional components of the SAP system and its integration into complex business scenarios by first getting to know the relevant theory, followed by practical application using the SAP system.

How to studyYou work online within a live SAP system to enhance practical competencies of the acquired theoretical SAP knowledge. Ordinarily, you would not have access to such a resource until working for a large SAP user or consultancy company. All courses run completely online, which gives you the chance to work on the materials in a very flexible manner, according to your own schedule and from any place you like. Thus, you can easily pursue your course aside your regular studies.

Course MaterialsYou will be working on the latest version of an original SAP system. The theoretical background is explained in detailed lecture notes and the case studies you will be working on were especially designed for erp4students. These materials are not usually available outside the SAP commercial classroom trainings.

Case studiesThe courses are organized in case studies that are completed in sequence. You can track your progress through the course as well as identify where your strengths and weaknesses are, making it easier to complete the course and obtain your SAP certification.Throughout the whole course, tutors provide individual support. The support can be accessed 7 days a week via e-mail.

CertificatesA student who successfully completes a course (that means, finishing all case studies correctly) receives a Certificate from the University of Duisburg-Essen, which states the practical work on the system and the workload.Additionally, as a participant of the TERP10 on S/4 HANA or the CRM course, as well as the BW on HANA or ABAP module, you can register for and write an official SAP certification exam to student conditions and gain a globally recognized SAP consultant certificate.
