• Identified a need to help returning vets that are homeless

• Designed to provide needed temporary housing for 

returning homeless Vets 

• The housing will be a reconstruction of the former 

nursing home in the Carroll County Complex, Ossipee

• 501(c)3 in the process – approved by the state of NH

and to be forwarded to IRS for final approval

Mission StatementStarting Home, acting in a professional and fiscally sound manner,

is committed to providing transitional housing with living quarters

and communal facilities to qualified veterans, including, but not

limited to, a continuum of care, support, and guidance, in an effort to

move residents to permanent housing and becoming positive

elements in their community.
