Do not place STARWRAP on any of these areas
Pain Scale Goal – You should maintain your pain at a 6 or 7 during application
Pain in the 6-7 range is equivalent to a deep stretch
Length of Time Worked (15 minutes per specific area, or pain reduces)
Follow muscle tension patterns up, down, right, and left
STAR BulletsSniper- Rehabilitate and target
trigger points and adhesions with
a very specific focus
Enforcer- Recovery with a more
aggressive application for
specific areas
Diffuser- Performance used pre-
event and for initial use on general
tension areas
STAR APPLICATION™Adhere appropriate bullet on wrap
Place bullet on identified target area
Adjust tension strap and compression
Activate targeted muscle
Relocate bullet to new target area after 15 minutes of application
Chase pain up, down, left, and right from the target area
Use as needed for treatment of muscle tension
Anatomy of the wrap
Adjust tension by pulling strap through d-ring and applying velcro.
Apply compression strap for greaterIntensity and penetration of bullet
Seal the tension strap using the compression strap velcro
Finding the target areaBasic palpation techniques
Opposing palm compression
Feel for round muscle bundles
that roll underneath your pressure
Use the diffuser or enforcer to begin
Opposing thumb friction
Feel for more specific pain sites
Follow the muscle bundle
Use the enforcer or sniper
Foot Pain
SW EX with Enforcer
Location: Base of foot
Time: 15 min. max
Exercises: flex and extend foot
Achilles PainSW EX with Sniper or Enforcer
Location: Anterior and Posterior Ankle muscles
Time: 15 min. max
Exercises: Walk, dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion, eversion
Knee PainSW EX or UL with Sniper or Enforcer – 15 min. max
Location: Quadriceps, Hamstring
Exercises: Flex and Extend leg at knee,
Medial and lateral rotation of femur
May require additional pressure
Hamstring Pain
SW EX or UL with Sniper or Enforcer – 15 min. max
Location: Gluteus Maximus, Semimembranosus, Semitendinosis, Bicep Femoris
Exercises: Flex and Extend leg at knee,
Medial and Lateral rotation of femur
May require additional pressure
Wrist and Elbow PainSW EX with Sniper or Enforcer – 15 min. max
Location: Forearm, Anterior, and Posterior Muscles
Exercises: Ab/Adduction and rotation at wrist, flexion, extension and rotation at elbow
May require additional pressure
STARWRAP EX with Foam Roller on Wall
Leaning against a wall provides increased adjustable pressure
Attach STAR Bullet to STARWRAP EX on exterior of wrap
Find the best location and position to target the areas
Achieve the desired positive stimulus (6-7 on pain scale)
Activate the targeted muscle through movement
Stack Method on Mat
Attach the diffuser and either Enforcer or Sniper back to back
This method provides additional compression to areas of the hips and upper body
Find your tension area and gently allow your bodyweight to absorb the pressure
Slowly activate muscles under pressure when pain begins to diminish
STARWRAP EX on Foam Roller
Applying STARWRAP EX around the roller is the most effective method to achieve maximum pressure
Attach STAR Bullet to STARWRAP EX on exterior of wrap
Find the best location and position to target the area
Achieve the desired stimulus (6-7 on pain scale)
Activate the targeted muscle through movement
Optimal Tissue Health
The amount of time required to achieve optimal tissue health varies between individuals
STARWRAP is considered a positive stimulus to the body
Using STARWRAP on tissues other than pain sites can be extremely beneficial for achieving optimal tissue health
Be proactive in your search for tension in the body
Apply the STAR search pattern – up, down, left, and right from tension areas
We recommend using the STARWRAP 1 hour per day in specific areas while moving STAR Bullets every 15 minutes
