2006 SE Accomplishments – Success Examples

• GA – staff use ITRC products at DoD sites: Fort Gordon - Small Arms Firing Ranges; Fort Benning – Diffusion Samplers; Camp Wheeler – UXO Investigation

• NV – transforming an abandoned firing range to a wetlands park with ITRC’s Small Arms Firing Range document and ITRC’s Brownfield document for EPA funding process

• ME – using ITRC Alternative Landfill products to evaluate bioreactors proposal

• KS and MO – ITRC’s ISCO-2 products “saves the day” in MO to deny ISCO. In KS, the same info helps in approval of ISCO at Dry Cleaner sites

In 2006, TLs implemented a new project planning system

ITRC now manages by “project” vs. “team”

14 ITRC Teams have managed 28 projects

successfully in 2006 with minimal schedule

delays

Due to efforts of TLs and PAs, ITRC can now

predict its work load well into the future and plan

more effectively for new initiatives
