To have a video made, book in advance with us, we will come and make the video with you, and put it on the South Thames College channel on http://www.vimeo.com

If you know the youtube/vimeo video or Slideshare powerpoint presentation you want to embed,

go to the next page.

As with youtube, • Left click once on the "Embed" text to highlight it,• Right click • Choose "copy" • then …Go to your course page...

Embedding onto your course page

Click on the Editing pad where you want the embedded screen

Turn editing on 1

Remember toplace your cursor where you want the video/presentation to be embedded.

Toggle HTML Source

On the new screen, on the toolbar, Click the "Toggle HTML Source"

Paste the code from youtube/vimeo/slideshare here 4

Scroll to the bottom of the editing window and Save your changes

• Turn editing on by clicking on the edit pad

• Select/highlight video/presentation screen by clicking on it. (a vertical blue band appears to its right)

• Just like text you can "justify centre" if you want….

To control the positioning of your video / presentation on your page

Click on "toggle HTML source", and:

•FOR YOUTUBE/VIMEO: change the width to "250" and the height to "200". Smaller and the "expand screen" icon ( ) disappears from the youtube frame.

•FOR SLIDESHARE: change the width to "600" and the height to "500” max.

Uploading onto Slideshare

You can either set up a new account with Slideshare or if you prefer to get South Thames College’s login and password details,

please see the image below

Click on "Upload"

Click on “Browse and select files"
