    I. 2D figures

    The four basic shapes are

    1) Square

    It has 4 sides, 4corners and all the sides are equal.

    2) Rectangle

    It has 4 sides, 4 corners but only opposite sides are equal.

    3) Triangle

    It has 3 sides and 3 corners and all the sides may or may not be equal.

    4) Circle

    It is a closed loop. It has no sides and no corners.
