Classic Lead 80The Classic Lead is Hayden's hard rock amp.Free of superfluous gimmicks, it gets youstraight to the sound with a performancereminiscent of '70s British rock moving on tomore aggressive, modern tones.

Rated at 80 Watts, the Classic Lead strikes the perfect balancebetween the characteristics of a 100-Watt design - particularlythe low frequency response - and the advantages of a 50-Wattamp, most notably the ability to drive it harder at giggingvolume levels.

Channels 1 and 2 vary only in their gain structures, 1 beingmedium to high gain covering subtle warmth to a huger, 3Dcrunch, and 2 taking things further into full, saturated, sustainwithout a hint of fizz. Presence, Bass, Middle and Treblecontrols are provided for tone shaping but the Classic Leadwon't make you work hard to get a great sound. It's all there,straight out the box. SpeakeasyLike every Hayden, the Speakeasyputs tone first. However thisexquisite 50-Watt amplifier alsodelivers a degree of versatility thatequips it well for the modern stageor studio.

The Speakeasy is configured in the classic Britishstyle - two channels with two separate signal pathsahead of a shared tone shaping stage providingcontrol over Presence, Bass, Middle and Treble.Channel 1 features a valve driven spring reverband a gain range that moves seamlessly from cleaninto a light crunch. Considerably more gain isavailable from Channel 2 which ranges frommedium crunch to full overdrive, stopping short offull saturation.

Footswitching between the channels also switchesbetween two Master Volume controls, allowingguitarists to balance the volume levels of clean andoverdriven sounds. Footswitch control is alsoprovided for the reverb and an external FX loopwhich is bypassed entirely when switched out formaximum signal integrity.

The Speakeasy's output stage combines over-specified, custom wound transformers with pairsof both EL34 and 6L6 valves. A switch on the frontpanel is used to select the EL34's for the warm, fat,crunchy sounds typical of British valve amps, orthe 6L6s for a more transatlantic tone, while asecond switch can be used to select all four valvessimultaneously.

Like other Hayden amps, the Speakeasy providesguitarists with the facility to pre-filter the inputstage to match the guitar. Vintage single-coils canbe 'beefed up' or over-aggressive humbuckerstamed as necessary.

On stage or in the studio, the Speakeasy rewardsthe experienced guitarist by responding readily toevery subtle nuance of the performance.After careful analysis of all the available speakers,the Speakeasy combo is loaded with a 12"Eminence Governor Red Coat driver.

Cotton Club CombosDrawing their inspiration from the groundbreakingBritish pop music of the '60s, the Cotton Club combosbuild on the available amp technology of the day tomake their signature sounds more accessible in avariety of recording and live situations. The facilityto switch between Single-Ended, and Push-Pullmodes empower their EL84-driven output stages tomake a full contribution to the sound and response ofthe amplifier at manageable volume levels.

Using a footswitch, players are able to switch between a clean channel withsimple Treble, Bass and Volume controls, and a higher gain channel withPresence, Treble and Bass controls, plus a Gain control ranging from light tomedium crunch. The addition of a Boost on Channel 2 moves the soundinto a more modern era but, overall, the gain structure is kept purposelylow, enabling the guitarist to add pedals for a saturated lead tone withoutcompromising the dynamic response of the output stage. Petite 2As simple as a guitar amp can get. On the tour bus or in thehotel room, plug into the Petite 2 and you're hard-wired to

the vintage guitar sound that lit the fuse of rock & roll.

The Petite 2 does it like it was in the pioneering days of amplifier design - nocircuit board, not even turret tags, just the finest components, hand wired,point-to-point. A single ECC83 valve in the preamp stage and a 6V6 in the

output stage serve up the sound of the era when the blues went electric, movingout of the cotton fields and into the juke joints. Driven hard and wound up all

the way, the Petite 2 punches well above its weight, rewarding the guitarist witha harmonically rich and full-bodied performance.

MOFO 100The MoFo 100 head is the new all tube 100 Watt flagshipof the Hayden MoFo range. For the player who needs theultimate in tone, power and flexibility the MoFo 100 isthe answer.

At the heart of the MoFo 100 you’ll find custom designed output transformers, 4 xECC83 preamp tubes and 2 x EL34/2 x 6L6 tubes powering the output section.Channel 1 delivers a super rich sparkling clean tone with beautiful harmonicovertones that, when pushed, move into a rich blues tone right up to a hard rockingcrunch. Channel 2 continues with more gain available starting in the crunchyrock/blues region right up to hard rock tones. The MoFo Boost control can be usedon either channel and can instantly change your clean tone to crunchy and yourrocking rhythm tone into a screaming lead/metal tone – all at the push of a button.

The MoFo 100 features two independent EQs with Bass, Middle, Treble, Presenceand Volume Trim. Each EQ can be used on either channel delivering total flexibilitymid set. Change from a mid heavy classic rock tone to a scooped metal tone all atthe click of a footswitch and much more, the switchable EQs are also very usefulwhen changing guitars, as they can be tailored to different types of instruments. Thepre-amp can also be altered quickly by one of the three pre amp shape buttons,changing the overall tone and response of the amplifier from thin to fat at the pushof a button. The MoFo 100 also features a Reverb fitted ahead of the FX out (SeriesLoop) and is common to both channels. The MoFo 100 features two independent EQs with Bass, Middle, Treble, Presenceand Volume Trim. Each EQ can be used on either channel delivering total flexibilitymid set. Change from a mid heavy classic rock tone to a scooped metal tone all atthe click of a footswitch and much more, the switchable EQs are also very usefulwhen changing guitars, as they can be tailored to different types of instruments. Thepre-amp can also be altered quickly by one of the three pre amp shape buttons,changing the overall tone and response of the amplifier from thin to fat at the pushof a button. The MoFo 100 also features a Reverb fitted ahead of the FX out (SeriesLoop) and is common to both channels. The MoFo 100 can drive a variety ofcabinets with 2 x 8Ω speaker outputs and 1 x 16Ω speaker outputs.
