The cortex is the internal and thickness fraction of hair fibre. It is construct by α-keratin fibres weaved together. The strength of these union bonds determines hair strength, flexibility and tensile properties. Pigment colour molecules are also located in the cortex.

The cuticle, the shingle-like outer layer, is make by overlapping α-keratin scales. It forms several layers of thickness around the cortex. The cuticle protects the cortex against damage. Without the cuticle, the cortex would be very vulnerable and breakable. And besides, the cuticle acts as a barrier against the unhealthy chemical and physical agents for the hair. Nevertheless, it is not an impenetrable barrier: high temperatures and pH’s (alkali) can easily open the cuticle and allow the access to the cortex.

Traditional conditioners can be used to smooth the hair’s surface, but they do nothing for the inherent chemical damage caused on the internal structures of capillary fibre. They possess very significant characteristics, and they are a key factor in skin and hair regenerative process, due to the two basic properties which distinguish them from the rest of the cells: they can generate a wide range of specialized cells of the same tissue; and they possess the significant capacity to renew and regenerate themselves

Plant stem cells culture extract used in Stems Cells line by abril et nature is obtained from a variety of Swiss apple called Uttwiler Spätlauber. Uttwiler Spätlauber is an endangered apple variety that was wellknow for its excellent storability and thus, its longevity, regenerative and vitality potential.

Introducing the bio-technological ingredients through the cuticle, up to the cortex:

As we previously presented, the aim of this new line, is to provide strength, vitality and youth, from inside the fibre. overcoming the external cuticle barrier. By this reason, we look for the way to introduce the active ingredients up to the cortex, overcoming this cuticle barrier. It was achieved by means of the development of a biotechnology refer to intra-cuticle micro-emulsion oil. By means of this technology, active ingredients are mixed with a moisturizing oil, which is incorporated as a microscopic particle size droplets . These droplets, due to their little size, are able to penetrate through the cuticle, taking with them the active ingredients, which are going to be set up in the cortex structure, where they will perform the rejuvenating function.

Apply Instant Mask Cell Innove on wet hair (dried with a towel). Slightly massage over hair for a best result and rinse-off. This a rinse-off treatment giving a maximum regenerative power to the damaged hair. We specially recommend it as a reparative treatment after a bleaching. In greasy hair, we recommend to avoid applying on the hair root.

Method of use: Wash hair with Bain Shampoo Age Reset, as usual. Leave it to act for some minutes and rinse. Bain Shampoo is a prior treatment product to introduce the rinse-off concentrate and/or the finish spray.

Apply Age Reset concentrate (rinse-off) on wet hair (dried with a towel). Slightly massage over hair for a best result and rinse. This rinse-off treatment provides the active ingredient which replenish the internal structure of capillary cortex, increasing the fibre thickness and the hair volume. Once that the actives ingredients have been

penetrated, the product is rinse out to avoid any little contribution of “weight” to the hair. This could have a contrary effect on hair volume.

Apply Gold Lifting concentrate (leave-on) on wet hair (dried with a towel). Slightly massage over hair for a best result. Do not rinse. Dry setting up the desired hairstyle: curly, wavy or straight.
